Is it compulsory for celebrities to show their support for any type of protests? 🤔 No.. so why can’t people let them be.

To comment on this BW celebs would've to do a lot of research into what's the issue..what r the actions or inactions so far..they have been questioned for half baked knowledge on CAA and farmers protest..maybe the forces behind this protest arent as powerful as other ones.

Anyways there seems to be a political undercurrent to this whole issue..the women should definitely get justice if any wrong is done..

govt appointed n inquiry committee under Mary Kom.. predictably the committee was called biased in favour of the accused. But even before taking any legal route the wrestlers sat on protest at Jantar Mantar asking for his arrest..wonder why..

Isnt it the right approach to file a complain first and ask for inquiry..u can take further steps if u aren't satisfied. But straightaway sitting on a protest and demanding arrest is possible according to judiciary? Can n accused be arrested rightaway without investigation? So when committee was formed they paused the protest..again restarted when the report was not made public..and it has turned ugly..

Rest of the points r nicely covered in other posts..don't really know whether the accused is right or protestors..and what is the right solution..Which committee inquiry will satisfy the wrestlers..and if the authorities give in to their demand and make n arrest it either can be justice served or n innocent punished wrongly..

Also didn't quite understand the demand of playing only in Olympics and not in Nationals

Govt created a group of veteran athletes to investigate the matter.. Mary Kom, PT Usha, etc. they submitted their report. Asked for FIR filing.

Wrestlers didn’t take legal route. Supreme Court also rejected the appeal and asked them to first file FIR.

And wrestlers hackled PT Usha when she came to talk to them..

I think I stopped supporting them when veteran like PT Usha had to run away to save herself.

It’s all political at this point. Sab 2024 ki taiyari chal rahi hai.

when its a Me too protest, what will BW respond to? Bahot kacchey chitthey khulenge on this, from the film industry first if any star opens their mouth.

IDK who to side with. I dont like Vinesh Phogat in particular, after all her tantrums during the last Olympics..but if any girl has been harassed or by anyone..then it is a matter of concern, and first an enquiry should be conducted on this and justice should be served if at all any wrestler has been wronged.

Its very difficult to take sides when its matter of sexual assault. Because in most cases you cant prove it. Also victims dont want their names getting revealed or divulging gory details.....lekin ek admi jhut bol sakta he 2 admi jhut bol sakta he. Itne sare log jhut thorai bolenge...still the law should take its course.

We all say usa gymnastics case....so... nothing to judge.
