They have been requested to keep quiet as they may make the situation worse. Strict rules have been sent out.
Wrestlers are dramebaaz , let them do drama themselves. Both parties will eventually settle it out in a month or two.

I don't think sexual assault is drama. Wrestling is a sport that has brought honor to India. It is important that people participating in sports should be treated with respect
I was in their support too until i saw few of their interviews where they themselves denied that no one would dare misbehave with them (because they are wrestlers and would beat them if they did). In another one she said that the abuse happened abroad but changed the name of the place twice or thrice when caught that the guy wasn't even there. Then i read how she acted so entitled during Olympics. She demanded she stay in a room at a separate floor from the rest of the Indian team, amongst other things and finally got what she demanded. Wore some piece of clothing with her sponsor's logo which went against the rules of Olympic association and the indian head had to bear the brunt. There are many instances where she was happily touching feet of that guy and calling him like her father, even during the times she claimed she was being abused by him, which is quite strange.
The main reason, is their demand that they get direct entry in Olympics without having to play the national matches (they themselves publicly demanded that). Also they want haryana wrestlers full control over the wrestling federation. Lots of internal politics going on.
I'm all for support of women in such cases but NOT when the case doesn't seem genuine, which it doesn't going by evidences that have come to light recently. Even a person with high integrity like PT Usha isn't on their side (she's president of Indian Olympic association) who had tried solving this matter many times.
I would wait for a full investigation.
P.s. - @all - please don't quote this post. I don't have energy to argue today so won't reply even if u quote or tag me. Just wanted to put all this info that I've come across over the last few months here. If u r really interested take the key words from this post and do your own research or feel free to disagree 👍

also BW ppl knows if they talk in support of the wrestler...they would be speaking against BJP minister implying they are against BJP which in turns means they are anti Modi which further implies they are anti India meaning they are anti national..

Case in point Farhan Akhtar was a part of CAA and when was questioned the reason he was protesting no answer. Deepika put in a token appearance before her movie but post that silence. They are on a fence and don't know anything about this. They just do it for money and has bitten them back big time so now better for them to keep silent.

heckling of PT Usha happened after a week of protests or so ( ofc very wrong) it dint happened other way round.....as they were angry with her statement about them ruining image of the country ...protests happened first.
and rest I agree about bollycelebs..especially why would aamir even speak out when we saw what happened during release of LSC.
