On top of that, the sartorial choices of veterans as well as debutantes have lacked elegance and grace. It is disheartening to see even the likes of Diana and Hyadari get it wrong. One can imagine how bland and tasteless the walk and couture have been when Sunny stands out as the best dressed among them all..

In the past, by these many days, one would be counting the number of threads. But this year it seems like an extremely difficult feat for a lone thread to cross 100 pages mark..

Cannes this year has been a colossal disappointment for Indian audience..

After seeing Urvashi walk some 20 red carpets, I have lost faith in Cannes🤣

Upar se the moment they invited every desi influenza to walk, they lost the exclusivity. I forgot Anushka was supposed to walk😆. Coz now its like, what is the big deal? Everyone from Urvashi to Kusha to Niharika to Sunny to Dolly to falana dhimkana have debuted. Anushka became a part of the crowd😆

The dress looks great in still photographs. But that wasn't the case in the video I saw of her getting off the car.

She seemed so lost. And this is the first time I saw how the red carpet looks, what a mess. There were 5 ppl standing and posing and sadly the papz didnt seem interested in any of them 😆

I agree..

Even if the organisers wanted the starlets, wannabes and so-called-influences walk the red carpet, they should have begun it with Aishwarya Rai, followed by Cannes experienced like Hydari followed by Anushka and Diana and then Sara and Sunny.

The should have then moved on to others after a gap of some days. Even the celebrities should have dressed better.

The lesser said about Urvashi, the better. But then why blame her only?? Of late desi celebs seem to mistake Red carpet for met gala and vice-versa..

Cannes exclusivity is a thing of past..

Anushka looks so dead. Like she has been forced against her will to be here. Not an ounce of charm or xfactor

I don't have an issue with influencers or small time actors being at cannes... Saying otherwise is nothing but elitism... Something like that Filmfare guy who took issue with hina being there

I guess the problem is not the influx of others but moreso the lack of genuine A-listers. One appearance each by ash and anushka. Thats it. (sara isn't an a lister)

Second the appearances themselves were so lackluster that made the whole thing so dull

And finally, cannes needs to decide what it wants to be - a fashion event, a movie event, or a money event... Bec if someone is not there for brand endorsement or for their movie, then why are they there?
