She may appear confident but I am sure there are moments of self-doubt, rejection etc. All actors go through that.

Maybe she is exaggerating, but I do think there is some truth in her struggles.

I would rather just be silent than to discredit her or anyone who talks about their struggles.

Quite a sensible comment.

I remember reading Urmila's interview in recent years where she stated that her peak years was the most painful time of her life especially being an outsider, she used to cry most of the times at nights given all the struggles, humiliation by the industry in so many ways, mistreating her, the painful hardwork, not much appreciation for her, sidelining and discouragement and facing all of the countless pressures by a young girl of her age tax her alot and most of the stars go through it.

I agree. I do not like people calling it sob stories or victim card whenever someone shares stories of struggle.

Like why pretend the person had no struggle at all?

PC was judged for her skin colour, teeth, nose from day one. Her Miss World win was also claimed to be rigged.

She has always had rumours of being a nightmare for starwives.

She was always bashed for being plastic or artificial. She has been bashed for causes she supported, her tweets, her marriage, her kid. She's been bashed for inviting PM at her wedding. She has been bashed for that Hindu nationalist dialogue in Quantico as if she wrote script.

IDK why people hate it if a celeb says she wanted to quit or was targeted or felt fed up or worn out at some point.

Cannot always expect person to have thick skin and pretend nothing happened or nothing affected them.

Exactly.

Why don't we learn from all these celebs committing suicide or going through depression and so much mental illness? Why can't we just give them some slack instead of scrutinizing every little detail.

They are human too. Live and let live, seriously.

If a celebrity commits a crime or makes an extremely insensitive statement that hurts others, then they deserve to be called out.

But other than that, they are human and deserve to make their own choices and say whatever they want to. We shouldn't be so harsh.

Its such a toxic culture where social media pushes people to suicide and mental illness and then we express regret and then we go on to target the next celebrity.

It's a quote out of context...of course I would ask some question before commenting...

taking it like this, I think that is something almost all actors and actresses experience once in a while
