If we see the writer's interview she explained few things like the walima scene, panchayat scene and also explained whenever Meerab wants to take a step towards Murtasim she always gets reminded of her suffering, and she takes a step back. This could have been directed well by giving us the point of view of Meerab clearly. I don't know whether she did not write those scenes well regarding Meerab's point of view or it was not directed well. Because she told that she wrote long scenes, may be they cut short the script.

But with meerab it was like she was skinny and he was suggesting and she was like how /why ? Maybe right she was also doing same , trying to give reasons for not leaving him but they shot it so badly it came out as something else!

Like rohail was keep on saying look at urself (her injury) how u became post marriage, how u forget ur freedom, dreams, murtasim loves u only because of his izzat obligation not genuinely.

All these r her vulnerable points. But she doesn't want to leave murtasim because of her unrealised feelings, so she gave him reasons why she can't leave him.

It's what I understand because the moment rohail talks about her past life, her expressions changes. She is unable to choose between past life and murtasim. It's unfair to murtasim. That's why her realisation is needed.

Yes. They should have show Meerab’s dilemma through pov or flashback but they just make stay quiet.
