The guy has left Ranveer way, way behind. Kartik Aryan and Ayushmann are not consistent. Varun is also struggling. Vicky and Rajkumar Rao are good actors but don't have a strong box office following.

His last 2 films have been superhits, and he has a cult following among gen Z. They idolize him just as we idolized the Khans.

To give an example Rajinikanth sir films they pour milk on his cut out and celebrates in south that goes same for Vijay & Ajith films

SRK & Salman birthdays the crowd under their homes to wish them for their birthdays thats superstardom

Rajesh Khanna i heard ladies writes letter to him in their blood and his entire car left with lipstick marks thats superstardom

Superstar has people fight for them, trust them and watch even their crap fondly. Like Aamir's crap, OTT Raja Hindustani too became ATBB and a weak film like Ghajini entered 100 crore club and Aamir rose to top despite banning media, awards and never hiring any PR firm, Salman's crap films like Ready, Bodyguard also broke records. SRK did crap script like Pathaan and still broke records. Superstar has people imitate whatever he does the way people mimic pocket step of Salman from Dhinka chika or wear bracelet like him or copy dialogues of SRK. Superstar survives flops too and works on his own. Not relying on parents or GFs for promotion and publicity.

Ranbir or Ranveer or post HR stars have NO charisma or mass appeal or sway over India and overseas masses like Khans, HR. I would not even equate them to Akki at his peak in 2007-08. Nor Ajay.

Post 2000s stars are all hype and online bot phenomena but no real mass appeal.

Aamir is more of his films but SRK & Salman superstardom is something else the only 2 actors i have seen the entire crowd under their home for birthdays just to wish them this is something i did not see for Aamir

I heard the fans of SRK & Salman just jams the road on their birthdays & the 2 KHANS comes out personally to celebrate their birthdays with them

What I meant is that these Ranbirs and Ranveers do NOT even have stardom of Ajay and Akki. Forget Khans.

I remember what a clean hit Phool aur kaante was and how its songs took nation by storm and Ajay's bike stunt was copied by men.

Or how QSQT, MPK created craze. Aamir and Salman were overnight sensation unlike overhyped Rs with only B and V as differentiator.

Or SRK was noticed in TV serials on DD itself with ZERO PR and people said this boy deserved to be on bigger screen.

I have seen people copy Aamir's caps, one liners, rings in Rangeela and Ghulam or people still copy his DCH beard.

I have seen people follow body building and shirtless trend solely due to Salman. And wear glasses, jackets, bracelets and have bikes like him.

I have seen people wear SRK's locket from KKHH, jackets, glasses, sweaters like him.

I have seen people recreate Khan style acting and scenes in TV shows and real life. Countless wannabes copying their style.

I have seen real life impact of films like RDB, TZP, 3 Idiots and Swades which inspired people to start own initiatives or come back to India and work and syllabus including these films in case studies and curriculum.

Ranbir or Ranveer have not done even one iconic film in career that impacted or will impact real life or be seen as classic or imitated.

Or any so called post HR star for that matter.

Aamir is films. RK and RS are NOT even that.

How many people mimic or imitate post HR stars? What iconic masala film or entertainer these guys did? Tell me one film which was like QSQT, MPK, DDLJ, KKHH, DTPH, Lagaan, DCH, TZP RDB, HAHK, HSSH, Dabangg, Tiger series, K3G, OSO, KHNH, Darr, Baazigar, Swades, which created impact?

One film which had immense repeat value on TV or DVD?

Bakwas hai. Remove internet and social media, you will see what hype or stardom these Ranbir or Ranveer or any post HR star has on ground.

None of them can bounce back the way Khans did despite disasters and cases or controversies. And still break records.

Superstar term is used too lightly now.
