Beautiful write up! You captured the "unbridled" yet "misdirected" passion of Pakhi.

I want to contrast her passion/love with Sai's to show how beautiful "unbridled" yet "directed" emotions are. Because if you have a powerful medicine, so potent, what is the use if it is not given to the RIGHT person. Or if it kills him eventually. Love is like that too. It is a medicine but can turn into poison too

Sai's love for Virat though created by circumstances are nurtured in a way that it protects him. Sai was much younger to him, apparently immaturish and brash. But she always wanted him to open up to her, before she can fill him up with her love. His consent, his feelings were important to her.

There is this wonderful parallel makers are bringing. Recent episodes shows how "concerned" Sai is with Virat's behavior. She is out of a marriage. She is an outsider, but she is worried that Virat will ridicule himself while pursuing her. She is trying to stop him, knwoing that he loves her. She acknowledges it, but doesnt receive it because his love is not in the RIGHT direction. Virat is behaving like Pakhi used to in SaiRat deal phase. Always overstepping the boundaries. Keepign her honor aside, she pursued him. Again misdirected emotions. At that time, it was Sai who was going away because she knows Virat will not overstep the boundaries laid my a marriage. She was retreating and leaving him. Now when Virat is apparently behaving like Pakhi, Sai is stopping him again. Why is she so concerned of his honor? That is love. She cannot see him being ridiculed or CAed by anyone. Sai's love though cannot be shown openly due to boundaries laid by marriage, there are ways she still shows it in a right way to protect the person who she loves.

Ideally, Pakhi shoudl be leaving him like Sai did in deal phase. When she knows Virat loves someone else. He is wounded and can be treated only by Sai's love, still she keeps him suffering. Let the wound fester and take away the quality of his life, or even his life. What she gets out of it is the happiness that Sai would not get him. But how can she stop the love that reaches him anyways through her selfless actions? Physically you can stop something from reaching, how can you stop the emotions. Emotions are needed to make physical love also, isnt it? When will she realize that?

Sai's love, as defined by Ashwini once is so deep. She will show it in the ways that people cannot see but only can experience. So much love yet so calm and controlled, like an ocean. When it overflows, it will effect for life like her confession.

PS: Not talking about Virat at all here. I am contrasting only the women here.

BTW, I forgot to mention about Basmasura. I called her that recently too.

She does everything that Sai does and Sai wants. :) Shiddat se 😃.

But in her self love, she is using all the tricks on herself, immolating.

The post leap poster makes so much sense now. We think Pakhi is burning the rose(love) between Sai and Virat. May be not. It is her who is burning. The one who was between them is burning. And the reason for it is her attitude. Look at pakhi's face in the poster. so much attitude for what?

Again, some random thoughts from me! 😉 They are general views and not episode specific.

Feels weird to initiate a new topic on the forum. Seems like ages now😃 Anyways. Heads up. Nothing you may not know. Just a perspective.

Paulo Coelho had said “And, when you want something, all of universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.”

And then our very own SRK said “Itni shiddat se maine tumhe paane ki koshish ki hai, ki har zarre ne mujhe tumse milane ki saazish ki hai. Kehte hain ki agar kisi cheez ko dil se chaho toh puri kainaat usse tumse milane ki koshish mein lag jaati hai.”

I will add my two cents to this. “Har yaar dildaar nahi hota aur shiddat se maanga hua hamesha sacha pyaar nahi hota”

Shiddat..Pure intensity of a desire that can result in its manifestation. Such is the power of “Shiddat”. And this seems like a universal truth ….let’s say a universal law!

Shiddat se to Raavan ne Shivji se khud unhe hi maang liya tha.

But the question is, whether every desire that gets manifested due to its intensity is truly genuine and worthy of being granted or realized?

The answer to this has been told and retold since times unknown. There have been tales in mythology where the gods had to grant boons to the ones who worshipped them and did intense meditation (kathor tapasya). The gods rendered helpless by the very “Shiddat wala” law of universe. While they had to find anecdotes for those boons, this proves that every boon was never meant to be savoured.

Bhasmasura was granted the boon by Shiva that anyone whose head is touched by Bhasamsura’s hand will turn to ashes. His arrogance brought about his downfall. Vishnu taking the form of Mohini entices him through dance and eventually while dancing makes him touch his own head with his hand turning him to ashes.

Why take the trouble to grant the wish then? Because the one seeking it needs to be rewarded for their “Shiddat”. The universal rule applies. But whether their desire is right is questionable. Hence, while universe grants the wish it has its own way of delivering it. How, when, where is a puzzle in itself. Sometimes when the desire knocks on our door, we would not even recognize it. That’s how different they can be dolled up. Because universe adds its own mix to our desires. We may or may not like this “Mock-tail”😉

Nothing comes without a price. Every manifestation has a cost attached to it. It is upon us to choose whether we are willing to pay the price for the realization of that dream. I land up with my dream job, but it requires me to relocate. Am I willing to leave my aging parents to realise that dream. That is the cost universe demands from me. It is a choice I’m given to seal the deal with the universe.

Bahut gyaan ho gaya na? Let’s get to business

P had a desire. She wanted V. Wanted him at any cost. Shiddat se. Universe had to grant her wish. It had no choice. After all it has to follow its own law right? So after years of waiting, planning and plotting, but with an intense desire to have him eventually, P is granted her wish. Sai and V get separated by destiny and it paves way for P to take the place she always wished for.

But guess what? There are smart folks up there. They read between the lines and trick people with their own desire and wording of their desire. Have you not heard the elders say “think carefully what you wish for”. It is just that.

Was P’s desire well intended and pure? She wanted something that belonged to someone else. She disregarded the feelings of everyone involved and only wanted her wish to come true at the cost of everyone else’s happiness. Even the one she wished for.

Let’s take a trip down the memory lane to the famous…oops! The infamous café scene.

P uses all means and excuses to convince V to leave Sai and take her. She even acknowledges that V loves Sai. What does she plead from him during that entire conversation? To accept her in his life. “Jis haal mein rakhoge reh lungi”. It is not about love. It is only about accepting her in whichever way he can. So that she could own him in return.

Her wish with shiddat was granted. Exactly what she wanted.

She has him to herself. As her husband. But only on paper. He accepted her as his wife in front of the world. There is no questioning that. But is she happy? Nope. Because the wish was granted by the universe wrapped differently. Something that matched what she wished but that didn’t fir her liking.

She is now demanding her rights as his wife. Because she is his wife. She wants more.

Love is beyond anyone’s command and demands. And P never asked for love.

Ironically, even today she is asking him to accept her, as his wife, while she knows he loves Sai. So all she wants is physical gratification and ownership. She wants to capture him physically. She is not asking for love, because she knows she can’t have it. So she wants to have him the way she can have him. Or rather the way she understands it. To cage someone, to hold them captive, to chain them so that they can’t leave. But she doesn’t realise that such a relationship is as hollow as her wish. She is not asking him to love her, but give her the rights as a wife to share a conjugal life. She has been blatantly revealing her desire to claim him physically to everyone. She even ridiculed herself in court. And she realizes none of it. Because she does not even realise what love is, what a marriage. How dead is a marriage where one is demanding physical intimacy knowing well that the other cannot offer love. Such a pathetic state. But who is to blame?

The wish has been granted, and boon has become a curse. Because she used the shiddat law for an evil intention and which caused suffering to many. She got what she desired. Now its time to pay the price. The realisation is yet to strike. Such is the fate of an ill-intended desire with “Shiddat”!

Well said...liked your analysis.👏👏

It totally makes sense for P - she tried anything and everything to get V and she got what she wanted....but she still cant be happy because you can't force emotions or love

Amazing as usual Sherry.. ❤️

P's love might be eternal but it's selfish... and irony is it doesn't even consider the feelings of the person it claims to love so much. 👎🏼

Agree totally

While reading this I also feel Virat’s love for Sai is similar (not same- similar) to PL’s for Virat. They both want and not ready to give back what they expect.

Sai loves him but how he has received it and reciprocated so far is so selfish. And usually such one sided relationship either die when giver runs out of patience or they sign up for lifelong suffering.

Sai leaving with Vinu was clear indication that she has expectations and she is not ready for this one sided relationship.

PS: IMO they did not separated by fate. She clearly put her foot down, told Virat exactly what she wanted, gave him choice and he made a conscious choice.
He made it in ego? May be but he did and till date he has not accepted that he was wrong.
Pne can say Sai could have let it go but she was the person who was wronged, for months and after, she put up with a lot before it hit the breaking point. And she didn’t just leave- she gave Virat choice and it was his ego that he let her go.

What a parallel Sadhika 👏👏👏

How beautifully you have penned down Sai's love. Indeed it'd her love that she is stopping Virat. She won't be able to bear that her love be questioned by anyone....n she confessed it when Virat dozed off after holi drama. The pain is deep buried down.

Pakhi is delusional because she has never experienced true love. She is after a mirage, more she yearns for it....deeper she falls in her own dug grave ..though she isn't realizing it now. When that day comes, it will be too late

I agree to this as well! THIS was V's choice it was not Fate...Sai had given him and his family a choice...he made his choice she left....THEN fate played its cards and caused the accident ...BUT I also thinking V has accepted it was his choice and he made a mistake...right after the leap he said it with Ash that he shouldn't have let Sai go...then again later Karishma called him out on it that he chose someone else over his wife and child...then he accepted it in front of P and he accepted it in front of Sai as well...

Im not sure what else V can do now? He has taken acceptance and fault that he let her go he made a mistake admitted it several times and I guess NOW they will try to show him correcting that mistake? somehow?

I dunno if audience is accepting V's realization but in the mind of the makers and according to the story he has accepted his fault that he let her go...he didn't take her side... That to me seemed like the makers first attempt at redeeming V

I dont think her love is eternal, she tried to move on with Samrat and when Samrat died she even tried to move on and also met someone at cafe too right so she tried very hard to get virat back but eternal I dont think so.
