Chapter 1 (The Fall of Parth Virani)
The Beginning of the End
One week after his marriage to Vaishnavi, Parth Virani became a stranger.
No.
A nightmare.
The entire Virani mansion stood silent as Parth threw the property papers on the table.
"I'm selling everything."
Karan rose in fury.
"Have you lost your mind? This house is your grandfather's dream!"
Parth smirked.
"Dreams don't interest me, Dad. Money does."
Nandini stared at him with disbelief.
"Parth… what happened to you?"
He shrugged.
"Nothing. I finally stopped being stupid."
Tulsi's eyes filled with tears.
"My child, greed destroys families."
Parth laughed.
"Good. Maybe it's time this family was destroyed."
Karan slapped him.
But Parth merely smiled.
"You should have done that years ago."
Vaishnavi stood frozen.
The same Parth who had once promised to love her forever now looked at her with contempt.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" he asked mockingly. "Did you think marriage changed anything? You're just another responsibility."
Her eyes filled with tears.
"Parth…"
"Enough!"
He stormed out.
Hours later, the entire family gathered again in the hall.
No one had touched their lunch.
No one had spoken.
And then—
Parth returned.
Not alone.
The Viranis were shocked to see a group of lawyers enter behind him.
Karan frowned.
"What is all this?"
Parth sat down casually.
"You know, Dad, I've always hated unnecessary drama."
He nodded towards the lawyers.
"So let me get straight to the point."
One of the lawyers handed a file to Tulsi.
The old lady's hands trembled.
And then—
The world beneath her feet collapsed.
"No…" she whispered.
Karan snatched the file from her.
His face drained of colour.
"What have you done?"
Parth leaned back.
"The deal is done."
Nandini looked confused.
"Which deal?"
Parth smiled.
"The Virani Heritage Mansion."
Vaishnavi gasped.
"No…"
"I sold it."
Silence.
Complete silence.
Tulsi almost collapsed.
"The house?" she whispered.
"The house your Baa and Bapuji built?"
Parth nodded.
"Every brick. Every room. Every memory."
Karan grabbed his collar.
"Have you gone mad?"
Parth removed his hand calmly.
"Relax, Dad."
"Relax?" Karan roared.
"Do you even understand what you've done?"
"Of course."
Parth smiled.
"I just sold emotions disguised as property."
Nandini burst into tears.
"This house witnessed your first steps…"
Parth interrupted coldly.
"And now it'll witness my last."
Vaishnavi stood there trembling.
"Parth… tell me this is a joke."
He looked straight into her eyes.
"No, Mrs. Parth Virani."
Then, with a wicked smile, he uttered the words that shattered everyone.
"In fact, I've already received the advance payment."
Karan's voice shook.
"To whom?"
Parth smiled.
"You'll meet the buyer soon."
And far away—
Standing before Ansh Virani's portrait—
Reyansh smiled.
"The game has finally begun."
A Mother Rejected
The silence in the Virani mansion was unbearable.
Tulsi sat motionless.
Karan's eyes burned with anger.
Vaishnavi stood like a statue.
And Nandini…
Nandini simply cried.
The same child she had raised.
The same boy whose first word had been "Maa."
The same boy whose fever she had stayed awake all night for.
Had sold away the Viranis' heritage.
And now—
She no longer recognized him.
Late at night, unable to bear the pain, Nandini entered Parth's room.
He was busy checking some documents.
"Parth…" she whispered.
Without looking up, he said coldly,
"What now?"
Nandini sat beside him.
"Beta, look at me."
Parth continued working.
"I don't have time."
Tears welled up in her eyes.
"Tell me what mistake I made."
He finally looked up.
"Mistake?"
"Yes."
"What mistake did I make that you became like this?"
Parth smirked.
"You really want to know?"
She nodded.
"You spoiled me."
Nandini was stunned.
"What?"
"You heard me."
"But I loved you…"
"Exactly."
Parth got up.
"Too much."
Nandini's voice trembled.
"I raised you like my own son."
Parth laughed mockingly.
"And that's the problem."
"What?"
"You forgot one thing."
His voice turned icy.
"You're not my mother."
Nandini froze.
"My mother was Tanya."
Tears streamed down her cheeks.
"But I gave you my love…"
"And I never asked for it."
"Parth…"
"No."
He pointed towards the door.
"Mrs. Nandini Virani."
Her heart shattered.
"Don't call me beta."
"Don't call me son."
"And stop behaving like you're my mother."
Nandini could barely breathe.
"Parth… I may not have given birth to you…"
"But I held your hand when you took your first step."
"I wiped your tears."
"I celebrated your victories."
"I prayed for you."
"I loved you."
Parth smiled cruelly.
"And I appreciate your services."
Nandini stared at him.
"Services?"
"Yes."
"You did your duty."
"And now your duty is over."
The tears stopped.
Not because the pain had lessened.
But because her heart had gone numb.
"God bless you, Parth," she whispered.
"I hope no child ever speaks to his mother the way you spoke to me today."
She walked out.
And standing outside the door—
Vaishnavi had heard everything.
Her eyes burned with hatred.
She entered the room.
Before Parth could react—
SLAP!
The sound echoed through the room.
Parth slowly turned his face back.
Vaishnavi looked at him with disgust.
"I was ashamed of you before."
"But today…"
She removed her mangalsutra and threw it at him.
"Today I hate you."
Parth merely smiled.
"Good."
"Hatred is stronger than love."
Vaishnavi stared at the man before her.
No.
Not a man.
A monster.
And as she walked away—
Parth picked up the mangalsutra from the floor and looked at it silently.
Then, with a cold smile—
He locked it inside his drawer.
Brothers in Darkness
The next morning, the Virani mansion resembled a graveyard.
Tulsi sat in silent prayer.
Karan hadn't slept all night.
Nandini's eyes were swollen from crying.
And Vaishnavi had locked herself in her room.
No one knew how to face each other.
No one knew how to face Parth.
But Parth appeared at the breakfast table as if nothing had happened.
He calmly picked up the newspaper.
"Where's breakfast?" he asked casually.
Karan stared at him in disbelief.
"After everything you've done, you still have the audacity to sit here?"
Parth looked up.
"Should I stand instead?"
Tulsi slammed her hand on the table.
"Enough!"
Parth raised an eyebrow.
"Good morning to you too, Baa."
"Don't call me Baa!" Tulsi shouted.
"My grandson died the day greed entered his heart."
Parth smirked.
"Then perform my last rites."
Nandini burst into tears.
"Parth, stop this."
He laughed.
"Why are you crying again?"
Vaishnavi descended the stairs.
Her mangalsutra was gone.
Everyone was shocked.
Parth noticed it.
"So, you finally grew a spine."
Vaishnavi glared at him.
"I don't want anything to do with you."
"Fine by me."
Tulsi looked at Vaishnavi.
"You removed your mangalsutra?"
Tears filled Vaishnavi's eyes.
"He doesn't deserve to be my husband."
Parth chuckled.
"Finally, someone intelligent in this house."
Karan lost control.
"You shameless boy!"
Parth got up.
"Relax, Dad."
Karan grabbed his collar.
"Why are you doing this?"
Parth removed his hands.
"Because I enjoy it."
The answer horrified everyone.
Even Tulsi stepped back.
Nandini covered her mouth.
And Vaishnavi's last hope died.
That evening…
Parth arrived at Reyansh's penthouse.
Reyansh embraced him.
"Brother!"
Parth smirked.
"Missed me?"
Reyansh poured two glasses.
"Tell me everything."
Parth laughed.
"Baa wants to perform my last rites."
Reyansh burst into laughter.
"And your dad?"
"He almost attacked me."
"And your mom?"
Parth shrugged.
"Still crying."
"And what about your wife, Vaishnavi?"
Parth smirked.
"She removed her mangalsutra."
Reyansh froze.
"What?"
"She hates me."
Reyansh smiled proudly.
"You've surpassed all my expectations."
He raised his glass.
"To Ansh Virani."
Parth raised his own.
"To revenge."
Reyansh looked at Ansh's portrait.
"Father, your enemies are destroying themselves."
Parth smiled.
"And we're just getting started."
The brothers clinked their glasses.
Neither noticed the figure standing outside the slightly open door.
A figure whose entire world had just shattered.
Vaishnavi.
She had followed Parth.
And as tears streamed down her face—
She realized the horrifying truth.
Her husband.
The man she worshipped.
The man she married.
Was standing beside the enemy.
Laughing.
Smiling.
And celebrating the destruction of his own family.
With trembling hands, Vaishnavi stepped away.
For the first time in her life—
She was afraid of Parth Virani.
The End of Love
Vaishnavi drove back to the Virani mansion in tears.
No.
This couldn't be true.
Not Parth.
Not her Parth.
Not the man who had loved her with every breath.
Not the man who had fought the world for her.
There had to be some explanation.
Some truth.
Some reason.
But first—
She needed to hear it from him.
Hours later, Parth entered their room.
He loosened his shirt and casually poured himself a drink.
And froze.
Vaishnavi was sitting on the bed.
Her eyes red.
Her hands trembling.
Her wedding photograph lying torn beside her.
Parth smirked.
"Still crying?"
Vaishnavi stood up.
"Where were you?"
He raised an eyebrow.
"Why? Missed me already?"
"Answer me!"
Parth laughed.
"I don't owe you answers."
She stepped closer.
"I followed you."
Parth's smile disappeared for a moment.
But only for a moment.
"And?"
"I saw you."
Silence.
"I saw you with Reyansh."
Parth calmly took a sip.
"So?"
Vaishnavi felt her world collapse.
"So?"
"That's all you have to say?"
He shrugged.
"What else?"
"You were laughing!"
"You called Tulsi Kaki a fool!"
"You mocked Maa!"
"You said I was disposable!"
Parth smirked.
"And?"
SLAP!
The sound echoed through the room.
Vaishnavi burst into tears.
"How could you?"
Parth slowly turned his face back.
"Done?"
"You lied to me!"
"Yes."
"You used me!"
"Yes."
"You never loved me?"
Parth smiled.
"No."
Vaishnavi staggered backwards.
"No…"
"No, Parth…"
"Look at me and say it."
Parth stepped closer.
"I never loved you."
Her tears flowed uncontrollably.
"Liar!"
"I saw love in your eyes!"
"I felt it!"
Parth laughed.
"Then you were stupid."
Vaishnavi's heart shattered.
"You promised to love me forever."
"And forever lasted until I got what I wanted."
She couldn't breathe.
Every memory.
Every smile.
Every touch.
Every promise.
Everything.
A lie.
"You married me for money?"
Parth smiled.
"You're catching on."
Vaishnavi looked at the man standing before her.
No.
Not her Parth.
Not the boy who had worshipped her.
This man—
This monster—
Was a stranger.
"I hate you," she whispered.
Parth chuckled.
"No, Vaishnavi."
"You hate yourself."
"For loving me."
Her knees gave way.
And she collapsed onto the floor.
Parth watched her without emotion.
"Pathetic."
And walked away.
Outside the room—
Unaware of the storm inside—
Tulsi smiled sadly at Karan.
"Everything will be alright."
"Maa and Baba never let love lose."
Karan nodded.
"Our Parth will come back."
Inside the room—
Vaishnavi clutched the broken pieces of their wedding photograph.
And for the first time since she had fallen in love with Parth Virani—
She wished she had never met him.
Meanwhile, standing before Ansh Virani's portrait, Reyansh smiled.
"Father."
"Everything is going according to plan."
"Our enemies are destroying themselves."
"And your beloved Viranis…"
"Will soon beg for death."
And somewhere in the city—
Destiny smiled.
Because the greatest lies…
Often hide the greatest truths.
The Monster's Demand
That night, Parth arrived at Reyansh's penthouse.
Reyansh was in a celebratory mood.
"Brother!" he laughed. "How did it go?"
Parth poured himself a drink.
"Vaishnavi knows."
Reyansh froze in disbelief as Parth told him that Vaishnavi had discovered the truth about their relationship.
"What?" Reyansh whispered, his face turning pale before anger slowly took over. "She knows?"
Parth nodded nervously. "She confronted me. She knows about us."
For a few moments, Reyansh remained silent. Then a cold smile appeared on his lips.
"Then break her," he said quietly.
Parth frowned. "What do you mean?"
"Destroy her spirit," Reyansh replied bitterly. "Make sure she's too ashamed to face the world. Ruin her reputation, manipulate everyone against her—do whatever it takes."
Parth stared at him in confusion and horror.
"Huh?"
Reyansh's eyes burned with rage. "I'm saying she should regret ever finding out.” Then his face twisted with rage, his eyes burning with a hatred that shocked even Parth.
"Break her completely," he hissed. "Make sure she's too ashamed to face the world."
Parth stared at him, utterly confused. "What are you talking about, Reyansh? What do you mean?"
For a moment, Reyansh remained silent. Then, in a voice cold enough to send a chill down Parth's spine, he uttered words that made Parth recoil in horror.
"Rape her body and soul," he said bitterly, consumed by vengeance.
Parth stepped back, shocked by the darkness in his brother's words.
