If the roles were reversed and Anupama were leaving the house because she felt suffocated, then the whole world would be on her side and bashing Anuj terribly, feeling bad for her mental state, basically they would be up in arms. Just because he's a guy he is subject to gaslighting and no one is even paying attention to what happened to him.

In her previous marriage it was all about Vanraj and she wasn't even there. Here it seems like it's only about her, Anuj's dreams and wishes don't matter.

What a pathetic thing to say to a man who lost the only true dori of his life. How many times is she going to boast about the innumerable relationships she has to a man who has not a single relationship left?

And, why does she think a 21-year-old woman lacks any responsibility? She also has parents, siblings, careers, friends, and relatives. It does not matter how many responsibilities you have, once you marry, your marriage is your most important responsibility. If your marriage requires you to take a break from all other responsibilities, then you have to take a break. You don't take a break from your marriage to sort out other priorities. Parents grow old, kids become adults, and friends become busier, it's only your spouse whom you will grow old with and stay till your last breath.

P.S.: I did not feel bad for MAA today. A wife who does not try to understand her husband even after the husband screams at her about his problems deserves what MAA is getting.

Some even work part time full time
