Plus...abhimanyu is rich is his only quality ? How disgusting is that ? Akshu must go bk to ensure that abhir lives in luxury? In that case she can also go bk to goenkas or her Nani house , singhanias or she can very well fend for herself and abhir by doing something worthwhile right ?

Akshu is the legal heir of goenkas , she kairav and aroo are equal stakeholders of their business.

Yaar the problem is not of the finances . Akshu is the problem.

... We keep tooting about this great soul connection love story of abhira but what is love where there is no respect, no trust, and honestly the way abhi treated ak, no decency as well?? So love is just = physical attraction?

Bec no matter how hard i look, i can't find anything lovable about abhimanyu right now...

I'm a huge fan of harshad but i dropped the show bec i found abhi problematic right from the beginning... Oh! I might have watched it for the "chemistry" ten years back but now i don't have any patience for this shittt... I just started rewatching post leap and i can't help but root for abhinav and akshara who seem to have a great solid relationship going...

... Marriage is not about eye locks and sizzles and tashan but about trust amd respect and friendship and kindness and acceptance and patience... That is what i think love is.. All of which ak and abhinav have

Abhira is probably end game bec RS is not aiming to do anything revolutionary but abhimanyu honestly sucks at this point... Akshara is better off single than with him.

Oh my God, to pretend that she doesn't love Abhinav is so stupid. They get ready in front of each other, they take financial decisions together. She chose him to become the legal guardian and father of her child instead of her ultra rich family. What more proof of love does one need lol.

I can see a few common themes here :

1. Ak-Abhi love : I know many people have issues with what Ak-Abhi had between them, even being called love. I would suggest going back to watch some previous episodes, especially the few good times before leap1. To say that abhira only had a physical attraction and nothing else is really heartbreaking. They were amazing together and made each other soo happy that it reached the audience. Perhaps their love was childish; I would agree with that. The relationship between Ak-Nav is more mature. But Ak is literally saying that she wants to trust her mind instead of her heart, so her heart still belongs to Abhi.

Also, another aspect of this is expectations. Abhira expected a lot from each other. They chose each other as their life partners. They fought with everyone to make that happen. Its a lot different from Ak-Nav, where circumstances brought them together. Ak never had any expectations from Nav, and he didn't have any from her. That kind of love is different. I am not saying one is better than the other. Maybe the story will be about how love blossoming slowly from friendship is better than the passionate hurricane of Abhira. But, my point is, you can't judge the two relationships equally since they come with different presets.

2. Money. I find this extremely irritating cause its really of no concern. Everyone has money. Of course, Ak shouldn't go back to Abhi just cause he is wealthy, and she won't. They only made Nav middle class to show that money doesn't bring happiness. It was also done to reinforce Ak's struggle during her pregnancy. Beyond that, I don't see a point. The problem with Ak-Nav isn't money; it's their fake relationship.

3. Even if Ak doesn't love Nav right now, can she love him eventually? This I am unsure about. It is possible with how much Ak loves everyone in general and how much love she has to give. But she will never be able to move on from Abhi, so she will always be at that halfway point.

see the difference..there is nothing attractive about a man who treats a woman like abhimanyu does...Wil anyone root for parth ? Coz he isn't attractive and he has no chemistry with shefali? Is harsh birla attractive? Plus , all the love goes down the drain when someone has a mil like manjari 😆

It's a diff pov but I never found abhira chemistry out of this world or anything great ..I've seen better couples..I never liked harshad as much , pranali is okayish . If I put aside the story part , I still won't watch a kabadi show for them alone

Itv has a pretty established formula, it would be refreshing to see a different take, but most of the audience will not be on board with that.

Completely agree with you. The Sharmas are portraying hiw a middle class family lives. The only thing I didn't like is that Akshara has very little clothes. I grew up in a middle class family four. Only my father worked. But he was able to buy me new clothes if not every month then two or three months once. They obviously wasn't designer but they were not hand me downs either

I understand but THAT is exactly what the show is currently showing.

Abhi might have done xyz in the past for akshara ......but for how long can we justify the current mental and verbal abuse akshara goes through in the presence of abhimanyu by saying he did so much for her before?...

If they wanted to show abhira as a love story they could have shown abhi standing up to his mother NOW.. They could have shown him feeling guilty of what all he said and did. But besides the seerat point, he doesn't think he is wrong...

One can argue that 6 years back he was emotional but if he is still letting her be berated and guilted every time they meet, then it's not much of a love story and he is not much of a hero.

And forget about akshara love for abhimanyu. Lets talk about abhimanyus love. You don't love just someone's face, you love their character. Everyday his mother calls her a murderer, and he has absolutely no problem with that. So he loves his brother's killer? Why? He thinks she left him (snort) then why does he love someone who abandoned him?

This isn't love. Maybe what they had was love. But not what is currently been shown.. Abhinav comes across as the peace and happiness after the massive headache that is the birlas

We are only commenting on what is being shown. If abhira is endgame then they need to SHOW this love NOW and not piggyback on nostalgia.

I would never wish it on anyone, but those who have never been in similar situations will never understand that not everything we love and desire is good for us. Sometimes we have to take the bitter pill to get to a better place. We can love someone deeply but still choose to get away from them because they are not good for us. And falling out of love is made much easier when you lose all respect for that person. I would recommend therapy for someone like Akshara, not her toxic ex.
