And no in a real world too she wouldn't have chosen abhinav the driver as her partner or child's fatherji because money matters that's the FACT

And I think till now am sticking with Abhira and unable to connect with abhinav because he's a poor driver

In real world she would have asked for her share from goenka if she doesn't want to live with them , and have paid a hefty amount to abhinav for helping her that's it .

Because In this world one can only compensate other only through money there's no other way .

So please stop comparing the show with real world

P.s Waise toh real world mai shyad akshara k ghar se jaane ki situation hi nhi aati

We can respectfully disagree to this but why isn't Shefali happy? Why wasn't Manjari happy? The women I grew up around would happily choose a middle class driver over an abusive rich doctor, trust me. Money adds to your happiness but it can never be the main source of happiness. According to your opinion, people would relate to Abhinav and Akshara as a couple if he was a business tycoon or maybe a bigger surgeon than any of the Birlas? If you look around on other platforms and even on this platform, people have so much respect for Abhinav and the majority wants Akshara to choose Abhinav over Abhimanyu.

Whether or not it should be the story is a different topic.

And, we are still working on the premise that she showed her true self to Abhimanyu who stalked and mentally coerced her to "accept her love for him" that only he knew and she didn't lol.

People grow and change. What I was in college, I am not now. Present me is not false and past me wasn't truer

Abhinav has seen her grow from an emotionally vulnerable single woman to this strong, abrasive partner and mother.

I know I will get hated on in this forum but Jay brings out the best in Pranali as an actor. Navra has better chemistry than Abhira.

Lord, this one takes the cake tho. An actor of this calible doesn't deserve a pathetic character like Abhimanyu.

I swear, Shahi saw Kabir Singh and thought of making a Barjatiya version of it for itv— casting a 24 y/o opposite a 38 y/o that too.

Let's romanticise gaslighting, stalking, and emotional manipulation of a woman to make her accept her "unrealised feelings." Let's sell this pathetic, bordernline criminal story to impressionable teenagers who would move heaven and earth to defend the hot ML's abusive behaviour.

It is Abhi's creepy characterisation that put me off Abhira from the very beginning. I only started catching some epis after Jay's entry. It is disgusting that Shahi won't make Navra the endgame just to show that women can never move on from abusive relationships and pass it off as "one true love."

The only realistic character in this show is Kairav; his misbehaviour with Akshara notwithstanding.

Finally someone also saw the similarities between Kabir Singh and Abhimanyu Birla. Gosh these characters r toxic n pathetic n to pass it off as some form of soul love is even worst! Trust me it's not only some impressionable teenagers that defend them.

Calling Abhimanyu Birla is Kabir Singh is an insult to Kabir Singh Character. Kabir Sing actually showed genuine remorse, regret, and was willing to change, there was redemption in his story. Pray tell me what is redeeming about Abhimanyu Birla, this is the worst ML I have seen and we have seen a lot i repeat a lot of bad ones on ITV. Gul Khan had her share of toxic heroes, Ekta Kapoor too will make her male lead do ghastly things but there was always a sliver hope in them that made you root for them. Lord of all toxic leads Arnav Singh Raizada tormented his girl Kushi, but there was a line even Arnav never crossed. Abhimanyu Birla has crossed all lines, when you take a character so low there is no way to bring him back unless Akshara is a masochist. Yes HC should stop playing these roles, and everyone who is praising his acting, aren't you bored like he is done this same role in 3 or more shows.

I am glad the age difference was brought up, you write a toxic storyline where the actors and characters have a significant age difference it totally messes the power balance of a couple, they were never equal partners, not equal in love or marriage. He was always grooming her that isn't love, that is predatory behaviour, where the older partner takes in a much younger partner who is naive and tries to mold them into an image that they want them to be.

Rajan even said the theme of season 3 was two people who are in love with the idea of love, so when did the plans change to make this fake abhira couple a real couple. I refuse to believe abhira jodi is some all powerful fandom that cannot be overturned, if Sanjay Leela Bhansali in a 2.5 hour film can break the SalmanAsh jodi then anything is possible.

Technically this story should be a psychological thriller. Where an older suave doctor is obsessed with a young female singer, brain washing her into thinking they are in love, manipulates her into marriage, when she finally escapes the lie she meets a good man who shows her what love is all about #rescueakshu.

That truly sucks. Also, certain values should be instilled from a very young age. It's our fault if we're not educating our children to stay miles away from oppression. It's our fault if we're not teaching them to recognize the red flags. It's our fault if we're pushing the toxic romance over respect mentality. When they grow up with such shows, rest assured they will tolerate abuse in the name of love. They may even enable or worse, perpetuate abuse.

this would be the realistic situation..any real ŵOman would have chosen abhinav any day over abhimanyu..but sadly this show from season 2 shows the most toxic unrealistic relationships..kairas relationship was pathetic ..multiples divorces and remarriages until finally the hero found true happiness with the heroines looks alike.. so here too even though abhira had a failed miserable marriage..and akshara had true peace and happiness with abhinav..they’ll probably destroy abhinavs character to reunite her with abhimanyu and then start their toxic problematic relationship all over again just to keep the show on air.. lots of people on Twitter ŵho actually seem to be underage …most probably still school kids who have zero life experience..just teenage over active hormones… are screaming abuse for akshara and abhimanyu to unite for their so called chemistry without a thought about the story which they are most probably unable to decode due to youth and immaturity …so their are many voices screeching for the union of abhira ..while a section of viewers who are more mature understand that a man who chooses his mother over his wife, kicks his wife out after she just loses her babies..doesn’t deserve to be taken back..also how can akshara just dump abhinav and what about her son who has thinks his dad is abhinav..it’s a crazy messed up story.. a good clean solution will be for abhimanyu and akshara to move on with their current partners ..but the show has an obsession with reuniting the leads after tearing up their relationship into shreds 🤷🏻‍♀️

There is an even bigger problem when fandom make this about being anti fandom, like calling it anti abhira as if this is a personal attack on them. This is about anti abuse, anti toxicity, anti hate, anti torture, anti domination, anti possessiveness, anti all things bad.

No one is anti abhira.

Precisely. Love you for this. If we were so anti-Abhira, we wouldn't be watching this show or be a part of this conversation.

Never connected with Abhimanyu from the beginning. Watched in between only because Harshad made Abhimanyu a little bit likeable but the Anisha - Kairav track was very boring and I left cold turkey from there.

Then saw promos of Neil's death all over SM and since I liked Abhimanyu - Neil broship, started watching again for drama. Fell in love with Abhinav ❤️. Very similar to Anuj, Sooraj lol but somehow these characters always work wonders for me and Jay is amazing at the portrayal. Loved the Kasauli setup. Different and charming! Abhinav - Abhir ❤️ and also liked Abhimanyu - Roohi (sweet relationship). Didn't warm up to Aarohi. So for me, NavRa + Abhimanyu with a different woman who can manage toxic Birlas ( kind of like Sai ) + Aarohi as a single mother.

Would love to see father - child dynamics like maybe initially Abhir distancing himself from Abhinav for a richer, 'classier' dad and Roohi distancing herself from Abhimanyu, getting jealous of Abhir and then Abhir - Abhinav and Roohi - Abhimanyu with healthy relations all around.

As far as I recall when Ak-Nav accidentally got together he was shown to work as a mere guide in someone's agency. Ak was distraught, mentally exhausted n financially dependent. She wanted to help but her complicated pregnancy didn't allow her to. (How Gs left her penniless in a new place is beyond me but still that's what we were shown). Six yrs since they've shifted to a better, spacious home; Nav has his own taxis n staff; Ak has achieved some success in establishing her small jam enterprise. So obviously they've already improved their finances by working together diligently. As to the scenes they showed of Ak scolding Nav about growing expenses is probably cos they're tryin' to provide d best to Abhir above what they can currently afford and r also saving for d future. In our country a vast majority of population lives like that so no such extraordinary feat if leads r doing so. Yep it's great to be filthy rich like Bs and Gs but what good is this duniya bhar ka paisa when only few of them are really contented, when not one family can raise their children properly, when all of them r seeking moments of solace n understanding. It seems like they're all empty inside with filled pockets outside. Maybe many ppl would choose this lifestyle over daily struggles but there are also many who won't!
