Sunil had his own style and was good in action films and was huge in small towns and B centres due to action films.
Some of his films like Vinashak, Rakshak, Gopi Kishen are still damn popular on TV.
He was also fit and his films had good songs. His weak dialogue delivery somehow became his USP and people mimic the way he speaks.
Today's guys are weirdos and I hate their wannabe antics like nude shoots or selling personal life or behaving like TV serials actors like Ayushmann or trying to appropriate LGBTQIA identities by cross dressing or wearing nail paint as cis het actors. Like STFU and stop appropriating other identities. And no one wants to believe you are feminist or queer ally or some youth icon.
I just hate the trope of overgrown manchild done to death since last 2 decades now.
Where are unique voices or styles? Where is intense Akshaye of Taal, DCH? Where is happy go lucky Saif of DCH, HSSH? Where is rugged intense Jackie Shroff of Rangeela, Parinda? Where is hulk like Sunny Deol? Where is even a message guy like Aamir of Lagaan, TZP, 3I? Where is charming family man like SRK in DDLJ, KKHH, K3G? Where is mischievous charmer like Salman in HDDCS, PKTDK, HDJPK, CCTC etc? Where is an actor whi can do both Dil and Sarfarosh, Veergati and HDDCS, Darr and KKHH, Ghayal and Betaab?
I was watching an interview of late Raaj Kumar and I was mesmerised by his speech, command over language, posture, gait and persona. Today there is not a single actor who even sounds man enough or speaks any language clearly or properly with correct pronunciation.
Nor is there any solid character actor like Danny, Amrish Kader Khan, Aloknath, Reema Lagoo, AK Hangal, Prem Chopra etc. Remove Anupam Kher, Kirron, Naseer, Neena and we have even more emptiness in today's lot.
I'm still trying to figure out all the acronyms in your post😆
How did they went downhill with the fashion and face and everything ?
No one's here for the pure love of acting, that's for sure 😆 They're here for the quick route to money, name and fame. Money that they could never have made in any other profession, given that each one is stupider than the next😆
If we’re talking looks, I think the current crop of actresses are victims of the Instagram affect. Since the rise of Instagram (and the increased use of filters), there is one look that most young women aspire to and sadly that means they all start looking the same. It’s not a strictly Bollywood issue, globally young women are utilising surgery, filters, make-up to get that typical ‘Instagram’ look. In that edit of the 90s actresses, every single one of them looks drastically different to the other and that was part of their beauty and charm.
I think in the US actresses haven’t succumbed to that homogenous look, but the young crop of American models have. In India it’s the actresses.
If we’re talking talent, I honestly don’t know as I haven’t watched any of the new lots films.

Is anyone ?
True.
All actresses look alike. Unlike actors and actresses of past who had different looks, voices, styles, niche.
Karishma, Shilpa, Sonali, Kajol, Raveena, Juhi, Madhuri, Rani, Preity, Manisha etc all so distinct. Hema, Rekha, Neelam, Sridevi, Poonam, Rati, Neetu, Asha, Reena etc so unique and different.
Today's guys and girls look same. Same style, same physique.
I want my men to look different too. All the guys have the same hair, same beard and same abs.Originally posted by: atominis

But the difference is, most actors have SOME form of talent. Even the worst of the worst like Arjun Kapoor has had some roles he’s done well in. Unlike the nepo girls who are all completely talentless
Yeah men look alike too. Most of them were Hrithik or Salman or SRK wannabes trying to copy them.
Some try to copy Aamir in terms of film choices.
Bakwas.
Over the last 15-16 years, only DP, Anushka and Alia did well. Shradda also did well but she doesn’t use her PR and relationship like the other 3. That’s why she is not relevant much but rest of the actresses flopped so badly.
