Anyone here rewatched Titanic in theaters?

I finally watched it on big screen in 2023 after I couldn't in 1997 and 2012. I must say, despite all the grandeur and being made on a huge scale, the movie doesn't warrant a big screen experience. The movie looks as beautiful on a smartphone as it is on a huge theatre screen. Even the 3D was unnecessary. The heart of the film is its story, characters and music.

Surprisingly Titanic rerelease didn't get a huge response in India like Avatar and DDLJ. Very few people showed up at the screening I went to even on Valentine's day. Its still the third biggest Hollywood film with most number of footfalls after Endgame and Jungle Book.

Did anyone else watch the movie?

P.S. I didn't get what was the point of censoring the nude scene if you're not censoring the nude sketches as well.😆

Were you a kid back then?😆

Did watching it on big screen with 3D made any difference to the experience?

I love the movie but I'm not going to watch it at cinema when I've already watched it 200 times at home and I always end up mad at Rose for not help Jack.😁😂

One reason I watched this movie in theater after so many years was to brag that I didn't miss it on big screen.smiley36
