Why would i watch these films DDLJ AVATAR Titanic again when i haved watched a billion times. Waste of money

But than Titanic be it big screen or small screen even in our phones & tab the main strength of the film is the story its the heart & soul and how they made the film. It made us go back to 1913 when the incident really happened in the ocean. They made us felt that moment one cold chill frozen night on thr Atlantic Ocean how many lives were gone death did not spare even kids and babies. The struggle they went through it brought back us to that era. The story is its heart & soul than comes the music and other factors

She did came back to help him🤣but too late fate had other plans💔those days i cried when Jack died. Rose compromise with her life accept the reality and moved on in life just for the last wish of Jack. She truly loved him and its him whom she loved. It was sad but brought a smile when finally they met again in heaven afterlife it makes us believe in love, true love soulmates that even death can't do them apart

Avatar needs to be watched in theaters with 3D to be fully appreciated. Small screen doesn't do the movie justice. The whole deal about Avatar is its VFX and 3D, so if you haven't watched it on big screen, you should.

I thought the same for Titanic since this movie was also made on a big scale with gorgeous cinematography. But after watching I've realized you're not missing anything by not watching it in theater. Although that's just my opinion. Many people still say Titanic should be watched on big screen to completely appreciate the scale, soundtrack and special effects.

Titanic and DDLJ can be rewatched in theaters just for the crowd pleasing experience. I also watched DDLJ on re-release and the packed theater with die-hard fans made an old movie enjoyable for me. Same could've happened with Titanic but the theater was empty this time.

I don't think its waste of money. Nowadays most of the new movies are just crap. Better to watch the old ones.

If Rose had stayed on the boat and not jumped back on the ship, Jack could've somehow survived. He then won't have to worry about Rose, and if he had still found that door, he could've used it for himself instead of giving it to Rose. But I don't blame Rose for Jack's death. She was still a teenager and was bound to make stupid decisions.

@blue, that was beautiful but what about her husband?😂

I just watched it yesterday on the Dolby Cinema and enjoyed it more than I have enjoyed any new movie the last several months.

I know the debate about if Jack could’ve fit on that door is still on. But did anybody figure out why the old Rose threw that necklace into the ocean instead of giving it to that poor guy who was literally crying for it.

When Rose landed in America, she put her past life behind. She had nothing and she could've sold that necklace for a fortune. But she didn't because it was gifted by Cal. She built her life without it, and it won't have been easy to resist selling it, whenever she faced any financial trouble or had to fight to survival.

The necklace became a symbol of her strength. And Jack's memory was also attached to the necklace. Since she wore it when Jack drew her picture. It was the only thing to remind her of him. When Rose told her and Jack's story to her granddaughter, Lovett and his crew, Jack also became a part of their memories. After that she didn't need the necklace. But it still meant a lot to her to give it away to a random guy. She threw it away in the ocean in the honour of Jack.

Was it selfish? In real world sense it was. But according to movie's theme it wasn't. Because for Rose the necklace wasn't precious because it was worth millions. It had a deeper emotional value for her. The necklace was named "Heart of the Ocean". It symbolizes Rose's heart, which always belonged in the ocean because that's where Jack died. Also how she gave her heart to him by throwing the necklace in the ocean, and later on dying in her sleep in the exact location where Jack died to reuinte with him.

Yes.The necklace wasn’t precious to her.She used it to spite Cal even and show her defiance and rejection. She didn’t sell it because she already rejected Cal and his world and everything that belongs there. Why would it symbolize her heart? Why would she use something she hates so much to honor the most precious person of her life?

She didn't hate it. It was precious to her. That is why she kept it. Otherwise she could've just thrown it anywhere instead of keeping it all her life. Necklace had Jack's memory attached to it. She wore it when he drew her picture.

She kept it because it reminds her of the life she rejected so that she will never go back there even in times of desperation. Even that picture she only got it drawn to spite Cal and make a statement of her defiance and hatred for him and his world. From where I see it, that diamond shouldn’t have anymore value than that. So throwing it in the ocean or a dustbin or handing it down to some random guy shouldn’t make any different to her.

Okay, we have different interpretations of the movie then. What's the reason of your interpretation that she kept it to remind herself of her old life and never go back out of desperation?
