Keerat Today Made My Day

Well, as always Santu-Sindy duo was trying to test my patience again and again, and Sahiba was getting on my nerves by abiding to whatever nonsense they want.

But Keerat was not having any of it.

#1. She called Seerat out about her fisool ke karche.

"Paise toh samajti hoon na kya hote hai? Jo Sahiba di mehnath se kamati hai aur aap fisool mein udaathi ho woh paise."

"Kyun nahi hai paise?" (In which galaxy does this beauty queen live? Sab Sahiba ki hi galti hai ki she doesn't let Santu-Sindy know about the financial difficulty she faces)

"Kyun ki unko Ali Baba ke gufah ke address nahi pata hai. Jaha pe woh kul ja simsim bholke andar jaaye aur sone ke asharfiya lekar baahar aaye."

"Inki savings bhi udaati aapne. Ab inhei baksh do!"

AND DON'T FORGET THE FACT THAT SAHIBA HAD TO USE HER SAVINGS FOR SEERAT AND THIS LADY REFUSES TO TOUCH HER OWN FD!!!! THE AUDACITY!!!!

#2 She called Sahiba out too LOL, and I am in for all of it.

"Kyun yaar di? Kyun ho aap aise? Baahar jab koyi galat kartha hai toh aap sherni ki tarah daharthi ho. Par jab mommy aur seerat di ki baath aati hai toh aapse ek meow tak nahi nikalta!"

It made me so happy to hear her say that! Thank heavens the reel people are oblivious to this one flaw of our FL.

#3 Double calling out on Santu-Sindy duo

"Mommy, aapki yeh hi baat mujhe kamaal lagti hai. Zubaan pe aapki sach na aayi jaati hai. Muddha yeh nahi hai ki Sahiba di nahi aa rahi. Muddha yeh hai ki agar yeh nahi hongi toh waha pe sab kuch kaun sambaalega."

"Aapko aapki beti Sahiba nahi, manager Sahiba chaahiye. Aapko Seerat ki behen nahi, apni finance minister chaahiye."

SANTOSH: "Isne ek aur lafz bhola na, mujhse bhura koyi nahi hoga."

"Nahi mommy, aapse bhura khoyi hai meri nazar mein."

SEERAT: "Tu mujhe dekhe kyun bhol rahi hai?"

I am so glad Keerat exists. She is a breath of fresh air and she is always by her sister's side. In the OG also, she is there to protect her sister and I am in for all of it!

She does have her moments in the OG and I am waiting to see it here as well. She sees and understands her sister's struggles and scolds her for being too good as well.

She and her jija did some missions together too. In og Riddiman was close to her. And she used to freq comes to her sister sasural as well. I loved how she used to band bajaoing the jija family 🤣

I have only reached the part where she frequently visits the house and calls Riddhi and Rahul Jamai no. 1 and Jamai no. 2.

Boni is a mood. And what we can see, Keerat is also gonna be one hell of a mood too!

But in OG, Kunal was timid and nerdish but Veer doesn't seem to be like that so I wonder how their equation will be.

I like this version of the third couple more than the og. I am really like changes in veer from the og. There the third couple's chemistry felt bland to me.

yes really glad that her character flaw was acknowledged, and in such an organic way by keerat. The thing about sahiba is I think she takes her job being the protector of the family too seriously. I find her equation with her mom quite interesting. It is clear that santosh's favourite is seerat, many mothers have a weak spot for their first child. But unfortunately, she is one of those moms who ignore other children for the sake of one. In santosh-sahiba relationship, even though santosh is not physically abusive and does care for sahiba in her own twisted way, but there definitely is emotional abuse and manipulation. Sahiba was surely emotionally starved for her mother's love and protection in childhood. Which we don't see in keerat because she presumably had her sahiba didi. But sahiba, as a kid saw santosh-seerat bond and craved that, it somehow maybe got ingrained in her ki inko khush karke chalna hain. To the point she overlooks their faults and is timid and submissive to them.

Okay, bohut likhliya. I will stop my sahiba thesis now 🤣
