The inflated egos and unnatural sense of ownership of a movie industry needed a burst. Even after super success of KGF 2 and RRR , Bollywood n its crony journalists were trying to rely on North vs South controversies to tick off the hindi viewers. Thankfully initial success were followed by more successes like Kantara and PS1. So nope, these controversies don’t tick off viewers.

Even this controversy is manufactured controversy, which hardly matters to viewers.
