His mom's post says 30 in 2018 and his influencer cousins's does too. Obviously he'll hide it now. There's nothing wrong with hiding your age. Kartik tried for years to get into Bollywood parties and make connections. It's just another problem for outsiders.

The attraction was what? His good looks? He's fairly ordinary except for his smile. The one thing they saw was his success. It's been happening since the beginning of the world. 😆 Success papers over a lot of blemishes in the romance department.

Let's not pretend he needed them for career. His wins came way before the nepo girls spotted him. They spotted him once he became a name.

Let's also not pretend that dating an outsider doesn't give the ladies some cachet with the supposed Karthik supporters all of who went to see his movies only because of sympathy factor😆. Not to mention the publicity of being the girlfriend of the upcoming star.

Kartik doesn't look good in pictures, he looks better irl. A lot of girls are charmed by him for a reason (although I personally don't see it lmao).

Kartik was also not that successful pre-BB2, he's seen as blustering, desperate and weird by a lot of the industry. He's not that well spoken frankly, not that Varun is either, but compared to other outsiders like Ayushmann, Sushant, or even Sid C when the cameras are not on him, he's definitely a bit slower at talking. Like recently, he said he didn't support intimacy coordinators on set. A weird statement to make most actors wouldn't be caught saying out loud.

For Janhvi, she was legit in love. Being in Bollywood, her credibility has gone down. If she wanted to advance her career, she would have started dating rumors with a South star like Vijay Devrakonda, who would have loved the hype of dating Sri's daughter. There have been a TON of South offers for her, and her Telugu isn't bad. No one wanted her in Dostana.

Sara was the only nepo girl who had kind of made it prepandemic, she had more incentive to start a jodi with Kartik. Sara was again, the only who saw the benefit of being in a romantic partnership. They did date though with actual feelings after a while.

Not every relationship has to be beneficial for him career wise, iirc the Pashmina thing was mostly his own feelings and they were happy. It's weird if all your romantic partnerships are to advance your career. The outsider dating factor yes, but again, not so much of a bonus when you get shamed. Remember, the nepo fanbases are not as supportive as Kriti/Kiara fanbases with Kartik.

Also Ananya is a snake af. She leaks to the press like crazy. IDT Kartik is dumb enough to actually consider a relationship. All of Kartik's actual exs are on bad terms with him - not one would be at a party.

Sonu or whatever made him a star, but it didn't establish him as a legit contender. Why? Because a lot of people were convinced it was the script and not the guy - hence why Ranbir went to the director.

Kartik was still not taken seriously by Varun (who's spot Kartik is trying to take over), because Varun made some stupid signing decisions around then. He still didn't look like a legit star because he's not a strong actor. Ranveer was weird but people noticed him quicker because he's a really good actor.

Who is supportive of Alaya F lmao? She is known as one of the most horrible people in Bollywood. Once her askfm chats come out, she'll be branded anti India and she can kiss her career bye bye. There's a reason she has no fandom. Right on Jhanvi but my point still stands that a Kartik relationship wouldn't help as it would Sara. Tanisha Santoshi and Janhvi are the same - Tanisha just learned from her friend's mistakes.

That was also not exactly Janhvi's PR. Opinionated Indian is Akshay Kumar's PR outlet and has been for 2 years. He is most threatened by Kartik, and not Govinda Dhawan or Hrithik ripoff Tiger.

There is no such thing as Dharma disapproval. There is Aditya Chopra disapproval like with Sushant. But KJO himself wanted to work with Kartik since BB2, Kartik himself wasn't interested because the anti-KJO angle helps him. KJO is too snake like to straight up dislike one person. Also, Ananya is not very happy with Dharma in general. I think her problem is that she refuses any acting workshop.

Those 3 girls (Annie/Sara/Jhanvi) didnt even have their first movie release till after Sonu Ki Sweety. I dont anyone even took their interviews before that
