Anjali^Exactly, that is what I am trying to understand here. If you are planning on still showing her as a doormat to her ex, why write about her getting a divorce and moving on? Women who have been abused and are lucky enough to get out with help of laws, and divorce, will do everything in their power to not go back. Here you show a woman blessed with 2nd chance at life but instead of enjoying her life, she has been shown running around catering to the needs of her ex-husband and his parents. He has a wife for this and lets his wife cater to their needs (she, badly wanted that role). Since her kids are grown, and the two are married why is she running after them as if they are still in diapers.🤦🏽‍♀️ even parents in the USA let their kids go at 18 yrs of age and say, we did all we can, here are 50 dollars for food and gas but child your own. Don’t forget to call. Who holds their grown kids' hands when they are old enough to get married and produce kids of their own. I have four kids, and, three of them are out of college with careers, living on their own in different states, from their dad and me. I don’t hold their hand with every life choice and problem they have. We did our part and educated them and now they are on their own and can manage their own lives. I talk to them once a week but that is about. My kids know they are capable of making mistakes and solving their problems. Why can’t writers show this instead of this garbage of a weak woman still with no growth? If I was the actress playing, this role, I would be embarrassed. One day or two days of this writing is fine but after 6 months of no growth still, I would think about having a talk with writers over this garbage. The character deserves better, the actress does too. What I have seen the last few days is beyond insulting to the actress, playing the part and women everywhere, especially the ones in horrible situations who can’t get out and are trying to. Writers have shown that abused women in India, Pakistan, and everywhere else shouldn’t be taken seriously.

One of the reasons why i started to watch this show was too see how well she did in life and how she overcame her struggles of getting a divorce and away from her toxic family.

Make a new life for herself. I wasnt hoping for a marriage track so soon. Instead i wanted to see how she became from a doormat to a sucessful woman without anyone's help.

Not sure why Rupali is doing this character role 🙄

I guess a big section of audience like this type of character.

^^, I started watching it by accident one day on youtube in September. I thought she is my age, with three kids close to my kids' age with a batimaaz ex-husband and mistress. Very interesting. Let’s see how she goes from 26 years of marriage to living, and working as a single woman with not-so-small kids. I never thought this is where it was leading. Staying single for a few years, job, and getting your finance in order before getting married, was what I hoping to see. The actress might like this kind of writing but I find it boring. I couldn’t do it.
