yea, because his mom is in denial, he can't talk about how it has affected him. it is supressed anger and frustration. thats why he has unhealthy ideas about women. he does not know who to blame for what happened to his family. does he blame his dad? then his mom will feel hurt. so the other woman -- so called gold digger -- is an easy target. but viaan is too smart to accept that his dad isn't without flaws and that makes him even more frustrated....

the actor is a lot younger than adiit in real life. I can't remember where I read it but it is something like 10 years+

Actually we don't know the back story. Viaan and his mother think father left them for another woman and that woman was a gold digger. That lady Viaan ke papa ko paiso ke liye fasaya. That's what these two think.

But I don't like Viaan mom's attitude. May be his father was not happy with her and fell in love with sonebody else.

No no. Not 10yrs gap. Aditi is 38/39 where as Adnan is 34. Ehsan is 10yrs younger to Aditi I guess

yea I read teh actor playing ehsan is 10 years or more younger to aditi while adnan is about 5 years younger than her.

ITV or its audience will never accept that the wife made a mistake or had a role to play in what happened to her. if there was cheating involved, it is always "poor wife".

however, in real life, it is lot more complex. I remember having this very interesting conversations in a kdrama forum once. one lady whose husband left her for another shared this beautiful wisdom -- when she was first asked by her pastor "have you forgiven yourself?" -- she was so mad but after some time, she understood what he was saying. she had to forgive herself for the role she played in the breakdown of her marriage as well as forgiving him. as she shared, her husband left her for his reasons but she also had to accept her flaws and forgive herself for the role she played in the marriage. it made her evaluate how she could have handled certain situations better and how her emotions played in how she perceived certain things. what led to the distance between them etc. then she was able to find inner peace and moved on.

that kind of complex life wisdom is frankly way too beyond most audience. it is not palatable to many. I will add that in almost 99% of forums where there is a cheating drama, the audience hate the other woman. no one wants to acknowledge that the wife is also flawed and handling certain things the wrong way.
