Feeling for Katha 💔🥺

Ehsaan is a grey character, at least in the original show. But that will happen later in the show, not now if they stick to the original. In the promo, it may seem as if Viaan has told Ehsaan about Katha. However, I feel he will just say what the "woman" did without telling her name. The second ONS and Arav's existence will be shown first. Then both men will try to woo her. Viaan will pop the question. The rivalry will cause friction between Viaan and Ehsaan. But more than that, Viaan's mom will object tot he marriage as Katha is a mother and has a kid from another man.

so finally watched the episode and random thoughts:

-- I can't help but like the Gs. I know, I know. FIL is mean and all but I find papaG and mamaG so sweet and real when interacting. there was something so heartbreakingly sweet when he asked if aarav really looks like their son. he wants to know but has found it difficult to bridge over that gap...

am also surprised at how warm their relationship is. normally we are so used to seeing these parents characters have such a formal relationship. "yes, mr.bajaj". "yes, mrs. bajaj"... 😂

so I am bit taken aback by all the hugs and hand holds.

also, papaG has some large hands. they are as big as her face! 🤣 or does mamaG have a very small face? 😆

Feeling for Katha 💔🥺

I was surprised by the use of silence. first two minutes of the episode had no dialogues. only soft somber music and we only have body language to know how nervous they both. he takes a drink, huffs and puffs. so much of their episode didn't have any chatter. not even internal monologues where they are yelling at each other. so lot of skill from the actors required here.

also, appreciating adnan for his voice modulation --- in his first monologue where he is hoping against hope that seh won't come, there is actually desperation and sadness in his voice.

then in his second monologue, when he watches her leave, there is anger mixed with sadness. he feels used. that is part of why he feels so bad.

that said, I couldn't help be drawn by the rather white tight pants as he is staring at the window watching her leave. did the man pack additional clothes? 😂

another random aside: hotel decor! please see arch thread if you are interested and please let me know -- is that open bathroom concept? am confused.
