Actually you are right. So many promising Singers and composers but achhe lyricists ki kami hai. Same problem with movie writers. That's a big reason for the downfall of Hindi movies and their music.

It was a really good episode. Everyone perfomed solo.

Sonakshi - Consistent as always. One of my favourite Alka Yagnik songs and she sang beautifully.

Kavya - After some back to back rocking performances, it was disappointing. I feel she should have sung Allah Duhai Hai as her main song or Lat Lag Gayi.

Chirag - Nothing to mention. His voice lacks power, goes very well with certain songs but underwhelming in others.

Bidipta - Sweet beautiful performance.

Shivam - I think it was one of his weakest performances (which are hardly there actually because he has been continuously very good).

Rishi - Easily the best performance of the Day. And some of the variations were just too good.

Senjuti - Third best performance of the day for me after Rishi and Sonakshi.

Vineet - Good but could have been better.

Deboshmita - Enjoyed the performance. Her tomorrow's performance is looking more promising.

Navdeep - Mere Rashke Kamar is such a song that you will always enjoy unless someone sings it horribly. So I did enjoy it but nothing new from Navdeep. I think it was a copy paste of Sunny Hindustani's version and Sunny was much better.

Hi what happen to Senjuti leaving the show I mean I know she is not quitting coz she was at live yesterday with others so did her father health got better or what happen? Also are they doing solos for both epsodes.

Vishal asked Senjuti to call her parents to Mumbai for the treatment. This way she can be with them and doesn't need to quit the show.

Sonakshi :- A superb rendition of Ae mere humsafar. Good modulations. 👍👌 Deserved MBD

Kavya:- MBD for this??!! Seriously? That was one of the most let-down renditions of yeh Kali kali Aakhen. Didn’t like her improvisations. Overall I was just waiting for her to stop. I know, this is not the forum, but can’t help comparing the amazing performance of the same by lil champs Jetsen & harmeher recently.

Chirag :- Very underwhelming; wrong choice of songs, esp Bardhast needed power in the voice. He failed to deliver.

Bidipta :-Baazigar title song… very soothing. Performed well. 👍

Shivam:- A very enjoyable Beinteha… loved it.

Rishi :- A contemporary romantic number, his genre & he aced it. A well deserved MBD 👍 He is steadily inching towards that trophy.

Senjuthi :- I have always loved her tonal quality & technique. A wonderful rendition of Humraaz 👍

Vineet :- Just an okayish performance. Nothing Vineetish in this. Really sad & disappointing. Either he is low on confidence or high on indifference. The song came out too soft, losing its appeal.

Debo :- A good attempt, but I feel she stresses certain parts in an attempt to modulate, & it loses the charm. ( I had to listen to PD’s version of this 💕😊)
Navdeep :- Enough said about him, suffice to say that we have heard better versions of this iconic song on various reality shows.

Asides…

* a nice episode with good choice of songs

* chirag kavya drama takes a new social media turn… 🙄. Pleaseee, can we move on??

* Ridipta proposal fell flat - an evidently relieved Rishi left the stage after the ‘act’… this one is destined to remain ‘kalpanik’ for TCT.. 🙄

* And finally……all got equal screen time with one solo each. Hope they stick to this. Should be their New Year Resolution, 😁… or maybe not since they are meant to be broken 😁

On the promo clip why did they show her coming out of the stage and leaving and I don't know but when they released the clip people were saying SM they did same thing with last season with Sawai too .
