Is everyone singing solos on both days this time???

Does anyone feel Bidipta is being overhyped regarding her beauty??? No offence. My opinion

First of all, just wanted to wish everyone on the forum a very Merry Christmas. I thoroughly enjoy interacting and chatting with everyone about my love for Indian Idol, and I hope the holidays bring you all joy. That being said, let's get to one of my favorite episodes of the season. Abbas Mustan and Rohit Shetty are iconic directors who have shaped my childhood so to see these episodes is exhilarating.

Sonakshi-Very underrated singer in this competition who doesn't get her due respect. To me she is my favorite female singer in the group (sorry to Debo and Senjuti fans). Her singing was too good today and I am looking forward to her performance tomorrow as well. Very well done!

Kavya-Was that really an MBD? That was such a karaoke rendition of Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankhein. Regardless she has a lot of fans and she should go to the next round, but I wasn't impressed with her performance today

Chirag-If anyone goes tomorrow (which I don't think will happen, I think there will be no elimination tomorrow), it will probably be Chirag. Both songs were incredibly weak. Bardaasht is such an iconic song and Chirag sang it at such a low tone. I did not enjoy either performance.

Bidipta-Very good performance. Love the growth Bidipta has shown in her singing. As for those commenting on her beauty, all the credit should go to the makeup team. They make her look like a fashion model but in real life without makeup she is just average looking which is the same case for Arunita as well. Regardless her singing was really good today. I enjoyed it.

Shivam-Another terrific Shivam performance but I can't help but think he forgot the lyrics in two places. I am not sure but it felt like it. Regardless I love Be Intehaan. One of my favorite Atif Aslam songs and Shivam did complete justice

Rishi-MAN OH MAN THAT WAS INCREDIBLE. RISHI IS THE BAAP OF MODERN SONGS AND WILL WIN THIS COMPETITION SOLELY BASED ON THIS. Caps aside that was truly a rockstar performance. Rishi is unbeatable in the contemporary genre.

Senjuti-I feel sad for her predicament but she gave my 2nd favorite performance of the day. She is slowly growing on me as a singer and would not be surprised if she finishes in the top 3 this season. She is that good of a singer. Sanam mere Humraaz is a tough song and she did complete justice. Great job!

Vineet-Man Vineet had a golden opportunity to slay one of my favorite Abbas Mustan songs but that was just plain vanilla singing. I wasn't enjoying it. Ek Din is probably my favorite Abbas Mustan song and Vineet was just plain average.

Deboshmita-Average singing today from Debo. She needs to pick better songs in my opinion. Otherwise she just comes across as a wannabe Sayli. I still love her singing but Bidipta and Senjuti are more versatile singers in my opinion.

Navdeep-Ahh last but not the least the king of the jungle. He doesn't have to sing an Abbas Mustan song but I digress. Good for Navdeep's standards but that beginning intro his voice went out of tune pretty badly. But still this is the contestant where there is clear partiality. More deserving contestants will go to make room for this singer in the finale kind of like how it was the case for SMP the season before.

Based on the promo I don't think there will be an elimination tomorrow. If there is Chirag should go. He has overstayed his welcome and I have had enough of the ladies reject me storyline.

Re. Bold: I agree with the sentiment but IMO the least deserving finalists were Sayli and Danish. SMP is much more versatile and talented than them. In my opinion, of course.

I have liked several of SMP's performances. My only issue is Neha Kakkar's blatant cheering for her made it so clear she was a judge's favorite. I saw Danish and Sayli live recently and Danish was so good omg. Sayli was ok. However I definitely can see what you mean by least deserving.

It was a really good episode. Everyone perfomed solo.

Sonakshi - Consistent as always. One of my favourite Alka Yagnik songs and she sang beautifully.

Kavya - After some back to back rocking performances, it was disappointing. I feel she should have sung Allah Duhai Hai as her main song or Lat Lag Gayi.

Chirag - Nothing to mention. His voice lacks power, goes very well with certain songs but underwhelming in others.

Bidipta - Sweet beautiful performance.

Shivam - I think it was one of his weakest performances (which are hardly there actually because he has been continuously very good).

Rishi - Easily the best performance of the Day. And some of the variations were just too good.

Senjuti - Third best performance of the day for me after Rishi and Sonakshi.

Vineet - Good but could have been better.

Deboshmita - Enjoyed the performance. Her tomorrow's performance is looking more promising.

Navdeep - Mere Rashke Kamar is such a song that you will always enjoy unless someone sings it horribly. So I did enjoy it but nothing new from Navdeep. I think it was a copy paste of Sunny Hindustani's version and Sunny was much better.

Didn't know that Rishi also composes.

All these people r talented but I just wish their songs have better lyrics..kya ho gaya hai sabko music industry me..the mukhdas have same old words recycled here n there with slight variations..this doesn't do justice to the compositions.

Holds true for II12contestants too..and of course Himesh songs
