I am not sure if writers intend to show that or not but I felt this from Sai-Jagtap and Virat-Kaku scenes. The show will slowly lead to two realizations. Sai's you need family and their love and support; Virat's family is not always right. You sometimes need to stand up against them for your wife and child.

Forget about the illogic of the circumstances, during the separation fight, Sai told Virat you can go on being an adarsh beta to your family....no need to be a zimmedar pati or pita. Today, Virat's outrage against BK seem to be connected if not directly, to that fight. Virat somewhere might know what he lost due to his family's behaviour. BUt he still has a long way to go before consciously taking a stand every time.

Or it could be that his strong protective instinct towards Vinu will finally let him see what pain his family's actions can cause to members...and that might usher in a change in taking a stand for Sai as well.

He was not able to bear sais manhoos tirade also! Yeah it is an instinct that he is fighting to protect sai now. From everything. From his own anger too! He jumps first to cut off sai hate… before they use words on her! Yesterday also he teared up when BK said sai should have died instead.

but yeah it came out more today because as a father it is natural to get triggered more than for your wife. He was holding up too much. He promised he would not call her ever to CN 🤣.

Exactly what I had said earlier. At least it should lead to introspection.

Also...kids ask uncomfortable questions. He will have to answer Vinu about why his loving Aaji ( she fed him modaks on the sly).. suddenly became like this harsh lady! And noone protested...not Pakhi, not Ashwini.

How will they protect Vinu at all? Similar situation as Sai.. noone protected her as well.
