And with this calculation PS1 already earned 125 crores before its release as they sold OTT rights to Amazon ... Means movie already entered 100 cr club before releasing 😆

No. Let us apply BWF forum logic according to which brahmastra had no buzz and will not collect more than 50 cr 😆

But BWF forum logic cannot bring money to anyone unlike Gangu calculator.. big difference you see 😆

They are so obviously not correct that everything else with Brahmastra also starts looking fake.

Arrey, give it a week or two. At current rate, it will be a hit. But don't be premature.

So far both sides are doing this, there's no middle ground here. If it does well and opens up more collaboration with Western studios then one can only imagine where our cinema can go from this.

On the other hand, people are not understanding that RRR day 1 WW gross was more than Brahmastra Weekend WW gross then it went on to collect 1100cr

The movie is doing decent enough. It should just make enough to get sponsor for the second part. Audience s verdict is in the favour of the film

What I don't understand is why so many people here want this movie to fail so bad?

I am not saying all but some do which is pretty sad

You can’t understand the calculator of a Producer and his minions. Let two weeks pass and everyone going back to the next they will tell you afterwards how much it really did and how much the costs were. Right now they trying to milk those numbers so that anyone sees look how much we did. So That good is the movie so please go watch.

Earlier releases till brahmastra the WW collections weren’t even considered for the hit tag. Even the releases in other states weren’t considered.

Brahmastra and RRR are not in the same boat. Ayan is not Rajamouli

Its an unfair comparison

You can compare probably part 2 but not this one

Brahmastra part 1 is doing very well for itself. Audience are definitely interested .

Even I don't understand.

Not liking the leads is another thing, but wishing worst for them and talking in an evil hateful tone is something on another level (which it should not be.. I mean come on, why getting personal with a film and someone from showbiz industry whom you have no personal connection with).

RRR wasn't a part 2 of any film and I didn't compare both films, I said it took a huge opening for RRR to reach that 1100cr mark.

Brahmastra with Ayan as director has budget close to RRR and release on par with RRR, why are you down playing it?

I won't be continuing this discussion because I feel none actually knows correct figures, people are saying numbers as they deem fit so I am out

PS - Raees was a clean hit, BOI can suck it

Mod, can you close the thread?

When RRR released Rajamouli has already established himself in hindi sectors. In south he was always a big name

I am not downplaying it. The movie s purpose was to generate interest and it did. People are curious. Despite not so favourable review audience still want to watch the movie

Also, the verdict is still out. It might not do as well as RRR. But it will still do decent enough

Part 1 should do enough so that the second part can be made. That s it

The possibility both in terms of stories and bit also monetary gains from here on is endless

They can not only make more movies. But also web series, tv shows, and even novels
