Choreographer Bosco Martis shares health scare as he remains under medical observation

National Award winning choreographer Bosco Martis has been admitted to a Mumbai hospital after experiencing chest congestion and discomfort. According to reports, he has remained under medical observation for the past week while doctors continue to monitor his health and conduct further examinations.

Bosco, who is currently admitted to Breach Candy Hospital, reportedly sought medical advice after feeling uneasy in his chest during a busy work schedule. As a precaution, doctors advised immediate hospitalisation so that they could carry out detailed tests and assess his condition carefully.

Over the past week, the choreographer has undergone several medical investigations, including scans and routine tests. While his initial reports are believed to be normal, doctors have decided to keep him under observation before making any further decisions regarding his treatment or discharge.

The news of Bosco's hospitalisation has led to concern among fans and members of the film industry. Pictures of him from the hospital have also surfaced on social media, with many wishing him a speedy recovery. However, there has been no official statement from Bosco regarding his health so far.

Bosco Leslie Martis is one half of the well known choreographer duo Bosco and Caesar. Along with Caesar Gonsalves, he has choreographed dance sequences for more than 75 films and over 700 songs, making them among the most recognised names in the Hindi film industry.

The duo began their journey as backup dancers for choreographers Lollypop and Farah Khan before starting their independent career in 1994. Their first feature film as choreographers was Vidhu Vinod Chopra's Mission Kashmir, released in 2000.

Bosco has worked on songs from films including Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, 3 Idiots, Swades, Queen and Jab We Met. He received the National Film Award for Best Choreography for Senorita from Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. Apart from choreography, Bosco has judged dance reality shows, directed the 2022 film Rocket Gang and launched his music label BLM Music in 2016.
