What broke my heart the most is that the people who should protect her are instead trying to control her future for their own benefit. Through this track, we show how Vrinda’s stepmother wants to keep her in the house because she believes Vrinda brings good fortune, and she is willing to force her into a marriage she never chose. Vrinda is uncomfortable, unheard, and emotionally trapped, yet she struggles to speak up because she grew up believing she had to silently accept everything. Sadly, even today there are women and young girls who face pressure, manipulation, and situations where their voices are ignored. Through Vrinda’s journey, we want to highlight that no one should have to sacrifice their future, comfort, or consent for someone else’s expectations. I hope audiences connect with her pain but also with her strength and remember that every woman deserves the right to choose for herself and stand up for her own life.”
