Ranveer is in a shaky position right now. Ranbir and Akshay stretched their terrible films to 10 cr or so. Did JJ even make that much in lifetime? Cirkus will get credited to Rohit, and Alia-KJo won't let him get any space in Rocky-Rani's press cycle. He needs something big, these attention seeking tactics aren't going to cut it anymore. What's his next after Rocky?

Yeah, Baiju Bawra or whatever SLB is cooking would be good for both Ranveer and Deepika. He needs new directors though. Zoya gave him a pretty fresh look for two straight films. He needs a change like that. Somebody like Vishal Bharadwaj or Abhishek Chaubey. Maybe call up Motwane again. Even Vasan Bala would be a killer choice.
