If KJo had gotten Shershah through any other means he would have never offered it to Sid. It would have probably gone to Ranbir or Varun or maybe Vicky. And Dimple would have gone to Alia.

One of the smart things Sid did from day one was made it public that Vikram Batra’s family wanted him for the role. That’s when the movie actually had a different producer. Once it was public it would be really hard for others to strong arm their way against the family’s wishes.

I know that Salman Khan wanted to co-produce it with Shabir Boxwala for Ayush but Shabir told him the family wanted Sid. According to Shabir though Salman was very understanding and gracious about it. Vikram Batra’s brother at one said that since Vikram was martyred at such a young age the role couldn’t have been played by a senior actor, which makes me wonder which senior actor wanted the role.

Remember the time he snatched DZ from Kat for Alia. Thanks Sid for standing with this film. Warna kjo would have taken any of his boys of Canada uncle.

Sid did well in shershah, with whatever he could he did. Hope he gets better ek din zaroor jeetega.

Vikcy and Ranveer were fantastic in their respective roles.
