Aamir Khan finally confirms third marriage, shares intimate wedding plans with Gauri Spratt

Actor Aamir Khan has officially confirmed that he is set to marry his girlfriend, Gauri Spratt, on July 5. Ending weeks of speculation, the actor shared the news with the paparazzi and revealed that the wedding will be an intimate ceremony attended only by close family members and a few friends.

While interacting with photographers, Aamir happily announced, "Haan, meri shaadi ho rahi hai. 5 July ko." He also shared that the celebrations will be kept simple and away from the spotlight. "Bahut hi chhoti shaadi hai. Ghar pe hi kar rahe hain. Dono families hongi," he said, making it clear that the event will be a private gathering.

During the interaction, filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani arrived and congratulated Aamir on the occasion. The two warmly embraced before Aamir resumed speaking to the media. Calling the date special for both him and Gauri, the actor said, "5 tareekh bahut hi khaas din hai hamare liye." He also requested everyone to bless the couple as they begin a new chapter together. "Sabki duaayein chahenge hum log aur aap log blessings dijiye. Prarthana kariye ki achha safar rahe hamara," he added.

Aamir and Gauri's relationship became public earlier this year when the actor introduced her to the media before his 60th birthday celebrations in March 2025. At the time, he had confirmed that they were in a serious relationship after dating for around 18 months.

The couple's story, however, goes back much further. Aamir and Gauri first met nearly 25 years ago but eventually lost contact. They reconnected a few years ago through Aamir's cousin, Nuzhat Khan, when Gauri visited Mumbai. Their friendship gradually grew stronger before turning into a relationship.

With the wedding now confirmed, the couple has chosen to celebrate the occasion in a low key manner instead of hosting a grand Bollywood event. Aamir's announcement has drawn attention across social media, with fans and well wishers extending their congratulations ahead of the ceremony scheduled for July 5.
