see it’s upto the audience to watch any kind of movie they are not forced to sit in the theatres, but Boycotting an Industry which has proven Entertainment through years is it making any sense. Yes there are going to be movies which are not upto the mark and expectations yes there will be casting of star kids which I believe should be taken into consideration by Bollywood and more fresh faces should be chosen. But I wouldn’t want to end Bollywood Completely and forever because it’s just impossible to live without music and movies

See this approach I don’t agree with. Nokia and Blackberry became extinct because they refused to adapt. You can’t sell phones on the model of “we made good phones before..bhool gaye kya?” Same applies for Bollywood. Goodwill does not apply when you’re spending your hard earned money, have multiple alternative options and the mehenghai is crazy these days. Bottom line - improve your product or the audience will reject your sub standard product. Simple.

I am not saying Bollywood doesn’t need to improve, I am with you on this. But banning ourselves from movies and music is something not making sense to me. Okay we can change the makers bring fresh faces in the industry go a change altogether. With regards to Nokia and. Blackberry we still used cell phones correct we didn’t ban ourselves from cell phones because Nokia and Blackberry couldn’t adapt.
as far as movies which are already made will be released whether people like them or not which have established actors in them or their kids. They can have empty theatres but Boycotting an industry is serious thing which these trends do not justify is the entire point here. I get it they don’t wanna watch certain movies and actors but you can’t just Boycott or end them abruptly because there are twitter trends.

I don’t think there is any kind of blanket boycotting of the Bollywood industry happening here. People will come out in drones if the product is good. They did for TKF, didn’t they? And where music is concerned, I for one will never stop listening to an Arijit Singh or a Sonu Nigam.
Boycott bole toh cancel culture ka doosra naam.
Maine kabhi nahin kiyelay, lekin I can empathize and consider it free speech.
Boycott any day better than ban, because you aren't forcing.
