I'm kinda done with the extra drama and barely any feedback on singing other than it was too good and everyone getting the same response from every guest. Like no creativity whatsoever other than the songs.
I miss the old times when they would tell ye Sur yahan aise lagao, ye thik nahi laga, yahan jyada practice ki zarurat hai. We could see the contestants get better. Yahan to feedback k naam pe kuch nahi milta

@bold :- you said it, about shreya. Some composers were criticised for ignoring local talent & signing up Shreya. May be they are justified from their POV. But I feel, what matters is the outcome - you do justice to it, you get offers. Chitra , for that matter has sung in Hindi too. Apart from the finesse it is the diction that matters. Yesudas fared badly in Hindi diction, SPB though with a slight southie bend, still found his niche in Hindi, more so since his voice suited Salman in his hey days.
And shreya’s Malayalam pronunciation is also bang on. She works on it, by making notations etc in the lyrics. And it pays 👌👌. Such a pleasure to listen to her mallu numbers. 👌

Just to add. Some of the best Bengali songs ever were sung by Lata and Asha. The pronunciation was not impeccable, but it never mattered. The singing swamped every tiny shortcoming.
People also forget that Shreya, (and even Aru for that matter), are actually Bengali speaking. As is Arijit and Manna, Kishore before them. Ability to sing songs from all regions I always feel is a function of your mother tongue. The more neutral it is, the easier it is to pick up differing intonations and deliver them. The tongue's adaptability or flexibility is a function of your mother tongue.
My opinion. Have not studied it.

I may disagree with you on the point about how neutral Bangla is as a language. There is a very distinct accent and a way of pronouncing words which requires effort to overcome. The same things holds for several Indian languages, so I am not singling out Bangla here.
I am telling you, everyone of these captains / Idols, etc. has too much to learn from Sayli. Commendable!
