How YRF Math isnt' Mathing
Now YRF will release an article saying 100Cr was recovered through "satellite and OTT rights" and 50cr recovered at the BO, so the film doesn't need to collect more than 150CR to "recover its budget and become a hit"

Everyone expected this..but on the whole it turned out even worse for everyone involved . I don't see a silver lining for anyone.
Yrf is over. They will continue to make small films,or do joint productions like Dharma did,to stem the slide. Will Krrish franchise still happen with HR...There is a joint venture for the Ayushmann khuranna starer.
When there are talks abt budget recovery being a “success” measure, u know its already flopped with the audience
For actually successful films that are well received by the audience, budget recovery does not even feature into the discussion…no one talked abt budget recovery for pathaan, Saiyaara, stree 2, dhurandhar ….u know from day one itself that its gonna recover its budget and more ….the discussion shifts to how big a hit it can become and the impact it can create, not how bad a disaster it avoided becoming ….

Alia and Varun always bought the average/above-average/semihit verdicts for their flop/average films to brag about their 300% success rate. Now both have been in the soup because people no longer buy into their fake perceptions.

but humpty and badri were clean hits..badri was a superhit
but i get what you are saying..varun has done that thru out his career
Alia gave a super hit with even arjun kapoor
so did begum ..that high heel song movie
she has done it all...other girls should step up.
go do movies with varun and arjuns and make them hits
aloo's next is L&W
then tumbbad 2 sp appearance
i don't believe in any rumors regarding kalki etc, till its made official
it will be interesting to see where she heads now.
from current lot i only see Sharvari leading the pack.
her next is Sooraj B movie with ayushman - pls sooraj give us another vivah or something like HAHK. pls no MKD
she also has yrf movie with ahaan P - high hopes
and there is Munjya 2
so far so good..tho i do feel her sudden love is alia hate in disguise, which is fine , i would rather her than others she seems whole pkg.
another one -- Tripti. anything she brings , i will be her cheerleader. lets see
hurry up girls , you all are hitting 30's and there are teeny boppers aneet and Sara watching from sidelines.
Varun and Alia should do one movie together.

Coming on the heels of Jigra, another film that failed to make the impact many expected at the box office, this setback has only strengthened...
