Now YRF will release an article saying 100Cr was recovered through "satellite and OTT rights" and 50cr recovered at the BO, so the film doesn't need to collect more than 150CR to "recover its budget and become a hit"

Yrf is over. They will continue to make small films,or do joint productions like Dharma did,to stem the slide. Will Krrish franchise still happen with HR...There is a joint venture for the Ayushmann khuranna starer.

When there are talks abt budget recovery being a “success” measure, u know its already flopped with the audience

For actually successful films that are well received by the audience, budget recovery does not even feature into the discussion…no one talked abt budget recovery for pathaan, Saiyaara, stree 2, dhurandhar ….u know from day one itself that its gonna recover its budget and more ….the discussion shifts to how big a hit it can become and the impact it can create, not how bad a disaster it avoided becoming ….

Alia and Varun always bought the average/above-average/semihit verdicts for their flop/average films to brag about their 300% success rate. Now both have been in the soup because people no longer buy into their fake perceptions.
