OK, I see the categorization now. And it’s from Box Office India and their bias has been more than proven. But moving along …

I don’t think he’s considered the most successful young actor despite this categorization. That doesn’t mean he’s not being offered movies or he’ll be out of a job. It means that everyone is looking at his last few movies and those haven’t done as well. The good old adage of you are as successful as your last release and his last few releases have been flops, including potentially JJJ.

Labelling a semi hit as a “success”, is like comparing getting 60% on an exam compared to 90%.

It’s not the worst, might be a pass….. but it’s not truly a success.

Usually when a director gets a big hit with a hero, he does his next film also with the winning combo casting the same hero. But now every time an outsider gets a big hit, nepokids lobby to the director and get cast in the director's next. So, Nitesh Tiwary signs Varun after Chichore, Anees signs Varun after Bhul Bhulaiya, Laxman Utrekar signs Sara after Mimi.
