Her interest in the defence forces began during her NCC years. She was associated with the 7 Girls Battalion of the Delhi Directorate and underwent military training as a cadet. She also took part in preparations for the Republic Day Parade, going through demanding training and drills in difficult winter conditions.

In 2023, she took another major step by joining the defence forces as a Mahila Agniveer under the Agnipath scheme. For someone born into a family with strong links to entertainment, her choice has made her journey stand out.
