Even his dialogues were very clear that for him Preeta and kavya are his responsibility and he was duty bound to protect them.

Tbh writers can do anything in order to justify PreeRan at the end of the day. Rishabh won't have to push Preeta, the woman will be more than willing to leave him and go back to Karan 😆

Yaar I actually want an exasperated Rishabh telling Preeta Karan’s obsession with getting married so frequently and her putting up with this. It could be a funny scene too. Even better, Arjun thinks he is marrying Preeta and bride swap happens and he ends up marrying Anjali with Preeta orchestrating the whole thing🤣😈

Later when Rishabh finds out he will naturally ask her to be Preeta. Not knowing Arjun’s dark side and the EMA thingy he will push Preeta and kavya towards arjun. But when he will find out he’ll will broke lose as he would want the best for Kavya and Preeta and then in a secured relationship.

Well I have low expectations from preeta given how much of karan behaviour and mistakes she has forgiven and forgotten. I just don't want rishabh to be butchered just to conveniently portray that preeta should be with karan.
