Well that is unfortunate. I always thought the journey was about Anupama and then Anuj would be an equal partner and supporter. The Shah's are the past and hence its irksome that she considers them Maayka and all.

And yes polki is very expensive it starts out in 10s of lakhs and can go upto a few crores!!

Bracelets are 1-2 lakh, earrings 2-5laks, maang Tika, ring, few lakhs, necklaces tens of lakhs and you see how this can quickly add up to make a set. These are generally heirlooms passed down.

Less expensive version of polki are Kundan (cut glass) in high end settings these are in hundreds of thousands Rs upto few lakhs but still expensive compared to other jewelry.
