I honestly thought being a mother would at least make her better over time as a person but that ain’t the case. I think writers have forgotten that she was supposedly infertile and couldn’t conceive. That time Muskaan was Pakhi and she was still somewhat likeable as a character and she had sympathetic moments. Then with Second Pakhi they completely made her a brat with no heart. Dukhmukh had once casually said Ishani was adopted but it was forgotten apparently within Amrika track itself. They casually mentioned her being domestically abused by Adhik. However I can’t see any mom asking their kid to get back together with a man who physically abused her even after he genuinely reforms like Upmaa did but then she abused him first which conveniently gets forgotten most of the times except when another guy is being physically abused by his wife. The second Pakhi didn’t care for her kid at all and was somewhat of a party animal who was more self absorbed. She was more neglectful. Then after next leap they suddenly made Pakhi overinvolved in her daughter’s life to the point of psychologically abusing her to such a degree that she got too attached to Upmaa like Ansh and Samar. Plus now she and Doshu are dumb clowns whom Upmaa the great humbles on a daily basis. As a single mother, this woman is practically the worst and straight up abusive. Her daughter is more career oriented than she ever was yet she seems dysfunctional as a person who gets herself stuck in worst situations like drugs alcohol blackmail and then being unfairly jailed. She was also suicidal once. This girl is a magnet for bad situations and needs therapy because of this horrid Pakhi
