Confused writers?

Namaste,

Each day, the writers have made me confused:

1. Karna kya chahte ho, bhai?

2. Akal, logic kaha gayi?

Kaha se shuru karein🤔🤨?!

1. Samar says, "Hamare sanskaar hi thoda bade hain" itne bade ki beti (Pakhi) first meeting me, apni (indirect) Taiji ko "Botox karwayein hain?!" bolti hain.

2. Pakhi and Samar are happier without life partners than such complicated, unrealistic ones.

3. Leela Shah has no reason to complain. Her taking responsibility of the household is a consequence of her mistrust on anyone else. It is almost as if, Kavya khud se divorce ka decision reverse kare toh kare, hum kuch nahin karnewale. Waise toh Leela and Hansmukh Shah claim karte hain woh badal chuke hain, Bahu - Betiyon me antar nahin etc. etc. But Kavya ke mamle me woh wahi galatiyan dohra rahe hain. Did anyone bother to have a genuine discussion with her? Hence, their change is nothing but conditional, selective only to Anupama and Kinjal(, may be).

4. Television makers aur practical personalities me kya problem hain? Why are makers hell bent on showing people with a practical approach as vamps🤦🏻‍♀️?!

First Kavya, now Barkha. Arrey bhai, jab Anupama ka divorce hua toh use kisi aur pe bhrosa karna mushkil laga tha na, woh justified tha, jab apne pariwaar ke liye Anupama ne ghar Rakhi ko mortgage kiya (Jo poori tarah apna tha bhi nahin) woh bhi bina sabhi ko bataye, toh Barkha ka kisi ko bhi trust kar paana especially family aur business ke mamle me utna hi mushkil hoga. Barkha is absolutely correct when she says, they are at a certain age, have a certain lifestyle, a certain way of living and for them to change ALL of sudden, is not practical. Yes, if they are left with no options, people do whatever option is left of.

When her brother cheated them and they had to take care of her younger brother, they had a business to fall back on, now that the business is gone, they do not have any security.

She has also taken care of her family, raised them, right. How is her approach wrong and Anupama right?

Everyone, not just women are insecure when it comes to relations because that is what they believe is their biggest asset. It is the responsibility of both people involved in any relation to provide that assurance which seems lacking in case of Anuj, Anuj's brother.

Pre-cap:

I have a feeling that Anuj does not like or does not trust Barkha and there are subtle signs indicating them.

I do not agree with the Barkha part, though I understand her pov,but just because u have lost your everything does not mean you start scheming to snatch somebody else's property!Yeh kausna tareeka hua??Aur kausna haqq maang rahi hai voh?Koi haqq nahin hai uska Anuj ke business mein.🤡Haan help maang sakti hai,jo ko Anuj definitely karega, help maangne se koi chota nahin hota!!About the age factor, if Anuj can start all over again, then why can't they??They too have enough experience right??

True, there is a difference between a phenomenon, phobia and fear.

Just to make the Female Lead mahaan🤦🏻‍♀️.

Sorry if my points did not come across correctly.

There are 3 parts to it:

a. Barkha's personality of being a practical person which is shown in her giving a reality check about them and their lives to her husband.

b. Her insecurities, her experiences driving her possibly to make her a lady she has become and possible not being appreciated for her efforts towards her family from her immediate family.

c. How Television has butchered practical women. Practical people don't go about scheming and plotting or snatching what is rightfully others. Practical women are not always either single or vamps. This is a stereotype that television has influenced and/or created in many subtle and evident ways.

Wasn't it shown that her husband had a stake in the business? Meaning she is asking her share in the business rather than a takeover.

Also, i think she mentioned asking help which her husband has been hesitating about. Going by the writer's usual way of portraying another female character other than the lead a certain way, I won't be surprised if she joins hands with Vanraj against Anuj.

I don't think so her husband has any sort of share in the business...There is a difference between being practical & being scheming, Barkha I feel is the latter!!Ik itv has a trend of showing educated women as manipulative bi*ches, but what can be done about it!!

Her point of asking share is on the basis that Ankush's dad invested/helped Anuj's dad set up the AK Empire. But there was no partnership, on what basis is she asking for any haq? Like everyone else, they have made her also a bin pendi ka lota

that point of her she states in asking partnership is illogical, uske papa ne koi shares toh nahin khareede hain company mein jo hissa mil jaye, kuch bhi dikha rahe hain!!

My point is simple.

What is the need to show an educated, strong, opinionated woman as necessarily being single or divorced or a vamp?

Have they not seen strong, opinionated, educated women?

Women are not becharis and neither are men.

Why does the female lead have to be ALL gyan giving, ALL sacrificing, ALL consuming, ALL bearing, know-it-ALL, do-it-ALL?

Also, why does it have to be a female antagonist every time?

because in this show, the male antagonist thinks he is the ultimate hero 🤣

Jokes apart, I agree with you. I don't get this ITV concept AT ALL! It won't hurt them if they were to show some logical tracks. 2022 and ITV is still stuck up in 90s!!!!!
