zunaisha wasn't wrong in wanting care, concern and attention. that was why naima didn't feel upset with zunaisha but understood why zunaisha was frustrated. however, shehroze wouldn't give time to the relationship at all and zunaisha did make the right call to cut it off.

it was a wake up call to naima and wahab that things had to change. when wahab fell sick, naima felt really helpless and felt the way forward was not a daughter-in-law but a second wife who can step in and do what she is unable to do. shehroze felt naima was being unrealistic but naima was very shrewd - she didn't randomly pick any woman but assessed zainab to be the right fit for their house.

naima was spot on in her judgement and slowly naima and zainab have developed a real friendship. zainab also promised wahab that she would take care of naima's health. by doing so, she has removed much of the tension that shehroze had.

it took him time to get over his doubts and concerns that zainab and ushna might do something behind his back, or that wahab would be blind to naima and her needs. instead, by seeing that parents have been able to balance their life and the situation is working means that shehroze has been slowly easing off from his over hovering of naima. that is why he stopped coming in as much to see her because he could see that she was well taken care. not just physically but she had emotional company. she had been lonely and he recognized that but he wasn't able to do much for her. zainab and ushna met the need for friendship, chatter, liveliness and filling up this empty house.

this allows shehoze to have his own me time which he had been slowly using. he didn't feel the need to keep popping in to check on naima. before, naima was stuck at home all the time because of her disability but now naima and zainab are even stepping out together to the movie. because he doesn't have to feel guilty or concerned that naima is alone at home, he is free to go on this date with ushna and enjoy it to his heart's content -- knowing that naima is having fun on her own and is well taken care of with zainab.

Obviously it's because of Zainab's presence they are able to live their married life. If Zainab wasn't there they will going round and round around Naima's room. But again, Ushna would have never agreed for marriage if Zainab wasn't there. I wasn't talking about house dynamic... I was talking about the feelings which a man has for a woman. He was totally emotionless with Zunaisha. It looked like her presence really didn't matter to him. He didn't even take one day to get over with broken engagement and it really didn't bother him that she has given commitment to someone else. They were friends since long and everything was over between them like there was genuinely nothing between them.

With Ushna, he had literally started to take interest from very next day his mom told him that they were just thinking to get them married. Out of blue, Sufiyan was his biggest enemy. He has used Zainab as per his convince to get control on Ushna as it was not possible to control her directly. When Ushna told him very clearly that she wasn't interested in getting married with him, still he was acting like marriage was fixed and she was his fiance. If this was a game, even Shehroz has not played it fair. He has created scenes at home for every little thing to indirectly tell Zainab to warn her not to even think about Sufiyan.

The difference is that- Zunaisha was allowed to dump him, but Ushna wasn't allowed to think to dump him.

If Raeesa ends up on road with khali katora and Rafakat gets one after another heart attack, still it won't make any difference for Sufiyan and Sadaf. Sufiyan will continue his experiments to get under the car of Shehroz, that's like a best time pass for him. Sadaf won't stop her new mission of "aukad yaad dilana' to Ushna. Both are hopeless. In case Rafakat dies, none of them would bother to earn a penny, they'll continue muft ki chaukidari outside Shehroz's home.

Interesting perspective!! I also feel, even though Zainab was one major reason, he was very different with both Zunaisha and Ushna. Initially, he did say in one episode in car that he wants to marry her to control her and I feel apart from Ushna being his mother's choice, he could not take a girl chosing Sufiyan over him, he did have a big fat ego which Ushna kept testing every now and then. She bothered him so much that he could not stop thinking about her . Like @mango.falooda said to he would not want a girl who would run after him but someone like Ushna who gave him back every now and then and he took it up as a challenge to own her which was not the case with Zunaisha. He took Ushna's marriage with him as more of a challenge than him being romantically attracted towards her. Hence he hardly cared about Zunaisha but not Ushna as Zunaisha was not a challenge for him. I agree, if this was the game, even Shehroz was not right all the time and even after he started showing his softer side to Ushna, he was still problematic at times. He started to melt mainly after the cemetry scene of Ushna by seeing her vulnerable side.

I also want to appreciate Usama for pulling off Shehroz so well. I cannot believe that I never noticed him like this before. To pull off characters like Shehroz, one needs to have charm and charisma with decent acting skills and he is doing such a good job. The guy desrves lead roles in good dramas. He has done so many bad projects so he never got to play such a layered character, in strong supporting roles, he was not noticed much. Hope, he gets some solid lead roles after ASA.

Anmol is good too but she still needs to work on acting skills. Well, her outfits in the drama are so good. If she has done her own styling , then it is really a good job she is done. She is very pretty too.

I am glad that both the actors are getting noticed by a larger audience through ASA especially Usama. I love how he does transitions in his scenes , so well.

It is proved that if good actors get good scripts and exposure, they can prove their potential. Usama did some really bad projects as lead , so his acting skills never shone and hence no one thought , he would come out this well when he gets a full- fledged layered character in a very well written drama with good ecxecution as a lead with lot margin to perform. His screen presence is good too. Characterisation do impact acting of people.

Also, Anmol and Usama has such a good chemistry. ASA gave them that exposure which could not happen in their previous drama Noor.

that is true that he didn't really care about zunaisha one way or the other; but I also do think that zainab made a difference in that shehroze could finally be just himself and go on a date.

when you have a loved one at home who is not well, things go out of the window. it can be very difficult to make time for yourself let alone have the energy or interest for it. so it depends on people but for some, life comes to a standstill. there is no space for personal time in any form. this is what happened to shehroze and why he got annoyed with zunaisha when she asked for attention. with ushna, there is freedom to go on dates and explore those feelings because he does not have to worry about naima. so that is why I said zainab played a role in the change of shehroze -- he went from obsessive caregiver to just being shehroze the son.

I agree with every bit of it. The guy knows how to charm. The way he transitions in same scenes from tough to soft to tough and then to soft again is just amazing. His expressions through his eyes and him raising his eyebrows are all so brilliant. Shehroz is witty , funny , rude , emotional, loud , soft , sensitive , cute, romantic. He has every trait and Usama portrayed all of them with so much perfection. One could easily say how good he is an actor is during his confrontation in Sufiyan in office. He carried the whole scene and one could easily find the difference between a non actor like Sufiyan and him.

Yaar how does did Satelite Sufiyan ALWAYS know where ushna is. Kisi satellite se personal connection hai lagta hai.

Also, the way Ushna used to answer back to Shehroz, why can't she give such a hard reply to Sufiyan? Her replies seem so so pheeka. Ek do karara jawaab degi toh dil ko sukoon mil jaayegi.

more important than satellite sufiyan, why on earth is the director giving OST to sufiyan right after he threatens a married woman? and that stupid sad look sufiyan gives. 🙄🙄🙄
