So many of you have questions about Lycans and what exactly this story is based on. Hopefully my explanation can help you understand better.
Lycans are basically werewovles - meaning half wolves and half human. No not physically. They can change into wolf on will. Otherwise their body is human form. They have abilities like running fast, senses , strength, agility. They have system of mates. Mates are basically their soulmate chosen by moon goddess. They bow down to moon goddess. Now lycans are higher caliber than regular werewolves. Their strength are ampliefied, all powers amplified. They have ranks too. So here Aryan is ALPHA its like a king of the pack. Pack means the people he rules and stays with. Imlie in this story is human. No mix blood no past with aryan life nothing. This is forbidden story because Lycans and Human together is unheard of in werewovles world. But once they see their soulmate lycans cannot keep themselves apart. Its like the bond pulls them no matter hard they try. Aryan will never consider Imlie even though she his chosen one. He wont be able to keep away from her. In inner wolf needs it soulmate. Alphas are possessive, extremely territorial and jealous times two than wolves he rules. They automatically love their mate. But here Aryan is controlling a lot not to fell in love since she is human but he cannot denied to be away from her either. So he bought the company just so he can see her , satisfy his wolf side. Veer is BETA rank which means he is right hand of Alpha. Arjun is GAMMA third in command. They are friends first though. So this will be interesting love story as its forbidden and forbidden things we love dont we? I hope my explanation made sense? Oh yea , Werewolves, Lycan like to mark their soulmates . Lycans recognize their soulmate as soon they see them thats why Aryan recognized when he saw Imlie but also realized she is human so his reaction wws anger and disbelief.
Basically the mark will tell other werewolves she is taken . Usually marks are done on neck. Its like you branding them. Its normal thing for them, for humans ofcourse not it would be degrading rather. One more thing SILVER IS BAD for lycans/ werewolves too much of silver can kill them. There are humans who are hunters who know about their world. So hence long back two races made a pact . Ever since they dont reveal themselves to humans. Nor humans who do know keep hush about it because war is not the answer. Humans would lose anyways even if they hunters on them. So live and let live.
