I agree with all of that you are saying. But in this auction they should had thought about the future CSK. They thought Jaddu will take the captaincy role. But that didn't work out. There is some kind of locality factor in CSK. But let's see. 2020 was a failure for CSK but they came back in 2021 and got the trophy. I do get your point but the goal is to win titles. What would you prefer? Trying new players like RR/DC/PBKS and staying trophyless or playing tried and tested core players and winning titles? Winning titles is the main aim isn't it? Mi win by developing new players. CSK win by trusting tried and tested performers. There is a saying in English 'Why fix something which in not broken?' CSK have won 4 titles with this approach and 11 out of 13 playoffs. I don't see why would they change unless there is a leadership change.
