Their incentive can't only be money cuz there must be another thing they're trying to balance -- like maintaining relationships with the top guns of these brands they probably don't wanna upset.... for a whole bunch of reasons like sponsorships for starters.
Either way, it ends up looking weird and hypocritical when celebrities who hit the gym daily and watch their diet closely promote stuff they wouldn't be caught dead with.
I'm sure they don't care about the public flak it gets them as long as they're taking care of their priorities either. So who cares if people bash them for their seemingly poor choices?!
Another way to look at this is that as long as you keep exercising and maintain a balanced diet you can eat these sugar filled products. The problem with Alia’s reaction and subsequent declaration of sugar being the devil is that it can be construed as a conflict of interest with these junk food companies. She either has a very lax contract with them or the companies themselves are not willing to raise a stink with one of the top stars.
