btw as a northie, i love idli dosas also. Just cant eat it every day though.... just because it would be too heavy. Ditto with mutton if it's well made.

ps- i notice sambar tastes differently depending where one eats. Wonder if thats regional differences dwn south. Saravna bhawan is great imo.

@ bold

Depends on which sambhar toošŸ˜Šā€¦there r many types… Tiffin Sambhar, kadambam Sambhar, Madras Onion Sambhar, Traditional Sambhar. I personally prefer the last 2 which is not available in any restaurant. šŸ˜Šā€¦in Dubai …tho u get the best of South Indian food in Sangeetha Veg Restaurant.

Yes. Sometimes if I eat something whose taste I can't get over of, I keep ordering it jab tak chaska chala nahi jaata.

Did once with momos and neeche ke halwai ke samose. Lagatar 7 din tak khaaya.

Ek baar toh mujhe McD ke spicy chicken wrap ka joh chaska laga tha, subah fire brigade ka intazaam karna pada tha.

I'll be sure to avoid pani puris cuz I'm anyway not fond of them if I'm not having them in the streets back in desi land.

Don't miss the second half in blue! I love pani puris but it has to be perfect, which it seldom is in restaurants here.

Anyways, I will be trying them out in NY, among other stuff. I have made a list after watching some YT vlogs and this thread is gonna come in handy too.šŸ˜†

Finally found someone who is not fond of pani puri. I dont get it why people are crazy for it.
