For the most part it’s an ok show, and I don’t hate Dhara, but I do think the show has a Dhara bias in a way that’s sometimes feels hypocritical.

In general, I do think Dhara means well, but she can be overbearing, bordering on smothering.
Like, she was definitely wrong in the previous track to kidnap shiva, dragged the whole family then flipped on the day of the wedding. Like lol, you orchestrated the whole thing and you get away a sorry. Raavi could never!

Idk, I oscillate between just getting vexed with her and feeling bad for her.

I do think Rishita was horrid the couple of episodes, whatever grievances she has with Dhara, she crossed the line when it came to gaumbi, which no one really called her out. Not even shiva.

My ire for this show comes from the fact that there are certain glaring plot holes, like for Dhara it’s this whole sequence, but gaumbi, who has been a great cheerleader for everyone in the family, he gets unfairly insulted, it’s almost brushed aside. It warranted a bigger reaction/…also, shiva fasting for Raavi was just brushed off, then awful little shit Krish stealing and smoking not dealt with, and even more awful little shit kriti causing this kaand, which shiva pointed out again brushed under the rug.

Dhara’s intentions are good but her methods are wrong. Sometimes she apologizes and sometimes she doesn’t at all.
You don’t force alcohol down someone’s throat if they don’t feel good about continuing with the zabardasti shaadi and most importantly when the groom has no idea about any of these things. She sprayed laughing has on Raavi too. Did she ever apologize to her for putting her through the torture,

This is one example that I quoted here but I can give you plenty more where her methods have been wrong.

In Rishita’s case there was no need for her lock the door from the outside. Won’t the thieves be able to break it open? Isn’t that what they do, break open doors and windows to gain access.

And I have been watching this show from the beginning too.

Most importantly she doesn’t listen to sound advice Gaumbi gives and wants him to fix things every single time after she goofs up and when it is already too late,

I think the reason everyone gets angry with Dhara is because she is a Mary Sue character. She is portrayed as always right, most sensible, does everything better than everyone else, and the oldest. These qualities make her a flawless character which is not only boring but it seems fake. Audience tends to gravitate towards characters that are either flawed or that are very interesting. Rishita is not only a flawed character but she is very much ok with being portrayed as selfish and she doesn't care. The audience has been so taken with Raavi because they think she is the most loveable goofball that is very naive but harmless and they root for her to be loved like she deserves to be. Dhara is always shown as right, always, so what is the point of rooting for her because in the end she is going to be proven right and Rishita wrong. You can turn around and say that what about Anupama, she is always shown as right and proven right all the time but people still show support to her. The reason that Anupama gets so much support from the audience is because it is about a character for 26 years that never was shown to be right nor was the character treated right by their family. Here Dhara not only gets love, support and respect from her family but the family have done everything that she likes, so where in the world is the struggle that people need to connect with. If they show her learning from her very obvious mistakes and make changes then the audience will also show support but if she gets proven right over and over again even if she is at fault then the audience can't be blamed for not liking her.

Episode starts with Dhara crying and she goes to Suman and hugs her.

Raavi says,"Dhara di aap aise mat ro, kuch hi dhinon ki baat hai, Rishita waapas aajaayegi"

Suman says, "Darr roh iss baat ki Markundi (Suman has not stopped name calling), yeh kuch dhinon ki baat nahi hai.

Dhara can't control her crying, " meri wajah se Rishita ghar chodke gayi hai, sahi keh rahi thi woh, kyun mein usse kamre me lock kiya mujhe nahi karna chahiye thi, mujhse galati hogayi hai"

Suman says, "yeh to shuruaart hai, aagaaz hai, yeh parivar ki rishte ki bikarne ki shuruart hai"

Dhara and Raavi are looking at her.

Suman continues and says, 'Shuruart Pattrani ne ki hai par daraar pad gayi hai, yeh toh badegi hai"

Dhara says,"maa aap toh please aisa mat kahiyenaa"

Suman says, "mere bolne se nahi darr, Dev ne jo Pattrani ki boli bolne laga hai usse darr, tujhse jo hua woh toh anjaane me hua, jo Pattrani ne kiya hai, bahut soch samajke kiya"

Dhara says, "Maa mein apne parivar kaise bikarne de sakti hoon maa, aap kuch karo naa Maa, Maa kuch karo naa"

Suman says, "bas tu itna yaad rakhna aage jo bhi ho, meine tere saat iss parivar ki taal abnke kadi rahoongi, yaad rakh"

Dhara is still crying and says "Thank you, Maa"

Gautam says, Raavi tu Dhara ka khayal rakhna , aur ek aur baat sab sunlo, jab Dev waapas aayegaa naa, koi bhi usse sawaal nahi karegaa mujhe koi ladayi nahi chahiye, mein dukkan jaa raha hoon, Jai Somnath"

Suman, Raavi also wish him Jai Somnath.

Other than Dhara and Suman, only Raavi and Gautam were there in this scene. I did not see Shiva or Krish.

Would you like a have a person in your life who never lets you do what you want rather manipulates you into doing what she wants by word games, would you ever want to go into a family where your partner prioritise his bhabhi over you, keeps secrets from you and then expect you to be all chill about it? and the bhabhi instead of understanding what's hurting you goes on to say let's keep it all cool and end it? Dhara's intentions might not be wrong, but in most of the cases her methods are very wrong. She went out to get help, but if someone would have locked me up like that I would also get hyper undoubtedly, what if Rishita would have tried to jump from window? She could have asked her to lock it from inside and not come until she comes, no doubt Rishita is very rude to everyone but inspite of knowing that Rishita is angry on her after coming back from hospital, Dhara just kept forcing herself on Rishita, if she would have given her space for atleast 2 days, that wouldn't have hurt much.

And if you really think we talk only bad about her, you just check the initial pages of this edt, where all of us felt bad for Dhara during Holi, bashed Rishita for not standing against her mother, said that Gombi should've stood beside her or atleast talked to her

There is a nice Shiva-Raavi scene and they talk about why Raavi supported Rishita 😃

It was a very nice conversation even it it was about Rishita's drama

Shiva is not angry with her and says she cannot pull a stunt like this by asking to go to maayka 😆

I will write it in detail.

Raavi's explanation as to why she supported Rishita was very convincing, but she also said that she is now afraid that it might not go the way she thought and says she cannot see this family splitting.

Raavi hugs Shiva and says she has become lonely because her relationship with her maayka is not good.

He hugs her back ❤️

Shiva and Raavi are back to normal, no fight, no arguments, they are there for each other, so all is well 😆

24 hrs ago things were different but now everything seems fine.

We shouldn't have wasted our time on ranting too much 😆

Everything is fine between Raavi and Shiva. Raavi explained him why she supported Rishita and Shiva listened to her. They hugged.
