Yes, I meant the colorful costumes and sets from Bahubali. The film's success has changed a lot of things in how historical movies are conceived. So much so that all the southern industries seem to have lost their unique looks and amalgamated to a single entity 'South'. Which is a pity since one of the pleasures of watching movies from other industries is the difference in color palette, costumes and traditions unique to that area. For eg: Malayalam historical epics used to have the characters primarily dressed in shades of white while the drapes and other furnishings would be in more vibrant colors. But the 3 Malayalam historical movies released since Bahubali ie Veeram, Mamankam and Marakkar follow the "Bahubali" color palette.
