It was 2:00 in the afternoon and Kalyani finished all her work at the police station and was planning to go home, but all of a sudden she started feeling dizzy, nausea tic .Since Malhar was not there she decided to drive herself to the hospital. When she arrived at the hospital she met with a gynecologist. The doctor carefully examined her and then asked her to do a pregnancy test which shocked her, the doctor calmed her down and said ‘Kalyani it’s just to confirm if u are pregnant or it is a weakness’. After the test the doctor asked her to wait for her report as it will only take 15 mins. When the report came the nurse handed it over to Kalyani, Kalyani hesitantly opened the report in the car and she was so happy because the report read positive She immediately called Malhar as she wanted to share this news with him first but he did not pick his phone up. She then decided to not tell him and give him a surprise as it was his birthday tomorrow.
She placed the report in her handbag and left for home. While helping Aai and Swara in the kitchen in preparing dinner Malhar and kaka returned from Police Station where they had gone for a meeting. Malhar eyes straight looked at Kalyani and noticed she was unusually happy. This made Malhar very curious and so he told the rest of the family that he is going to go up to rest and asked Kalyani to come with the coffee upstairs. When she was going up she had decided to hold on to herself and keep her excitement low. She handed Malharji his coffee and was leaving and Malhar caught her by the hand pulled her close. This made Kalyani loose her breath and she blushed scarlet red, before Malhar could say anything they heard Moksh saying ‘aai … aai … kal baba ka birthday hain aur mujhe card banana hain’ Kalyani freed herself and straighten her clothes and replied ‘coming pillu. To this Malhar made a face and said ‘tum se jan ke rahunga ke bat kya hain’
After completing all the chores in the kitchen Kalyani went up to her bedroom, by then Malhar had drawn the curtains made Moksh sleep in his new room and had changed it more comfortable clothes, and was getting restless and was taking rounds of the room and when Kalyani entered he started to scold her on how long she took to come up after dinner, she quickly apologized and went to pick a saree to change but Malhar stopped her and asked her to change into what he has left for her. She became nervous and went in the washroom ant found cream colored nightwear she changed and came out and went to Malhar and put her hands around his neck and Malhar reciprocated by putting his around her waist she turned her head to the clock and saw it was sharp 12:00 she wished Malharji a happy birthday by then sharing a deep passionate kiss. After that Malhar asked her is that all for my birthday she nodded ‘no’ and walked to her hand bag and pulled the report out and went to Malhar and took his hand a placed it on her stomach and asked him ‘do you feel something?’ Malhar refused she then whispered in his ears ‘ap phirse baba bane wale ho’ at first he did not believe it and asked here to repeat it. So she showed him her pregnancy report. He opened the report and read it and was so shocked about it he could not control his happiness so he lifted Kalyani in his arms and started go around with her. He soon put her down and he told her ‘this is the best birthday gift ever’ we already have moksh but this is our love this our baby. Seeing the time and Kalyani stated they should go to sleep. Kalyani laid her head on his chest and thanked him for giving her this opportunity of becoming a mother to this Malhar smiled and pulled her closer in hi embrace.
