My dear, my point was domestic violence is not equal to marital rape. Just because Anu wasn't raped doesn't mean she didn't faced domestic violence.

Why didn't makers raised this issue till now, why only blame on Vanraj is that of EMA only.

Have you seen the movie "Thappad" it took the right stance on this topic. Keeping rape aside, Mukku was beaten black and blue, Anu was too subject to physical abuse he had dragged and thrown her out of room and house. So till now, how come Vanraj is not Ghatiya Insaan. Infact, with Anu all we know is that after Pakhi they stopped getting intimate. We really don't know whether her consent was ever asked for before that. So, I am guessing even Anu would have faced it, she was spared the physical beating marks but marks remained on her soul somewhere.

Exactly, what anupamaa went through was domestic violence too, why do writer want to show only if the abuse is physically and is painful. Why couldn't they keep Vanraj accountable.

They easily whitewashed him. Not only he come back in good books of family but even Anupamaa.

Even with Mukku, she showed kavya the pic of hugging but blamed only kavya why not vanraj. Was affair done alone by kavya ?

How easily they redeemed vanraj has put me off with this show. So much dialogues they had between anupamma and vanraj, u r scared of my udaan , now u watch..and wow instead of showing anupamma growing and vanraj and baa repenting they are now busy making vanraj millionaire.

Regarding mukku anuj has taken decisions for her unfortunately all have went wrong unintentionally either marriage one or Akshay one I guess mukku blames his brother to some extent but she loves him a lot and respect him to inside she also knows his brother intention where never wrong problem is one is running to face the problem other is in guilt trip now I can imagine why anuj ready to give mukku everything may be he wants to get relief from some guilt also by this here anu will come into picture and will ask them to face the issues don't hide or tum from each other facing it let's see what happens I hope they focus on these 3 not that vanraj now

I wish I did not see this, just don't know how to watch tomorrows episode and then there is a Sunday next which makes it more worse.

Actually I wanted to post something in the episode review about Anuj-Mukku-Vanraj but I'm putting my thought on hold after watching this promo.

Aneri was good when I saw the precap but the promo is truly next level. Seeing the siblings break truly broke my heart. What was the need to share a lengthy promo

Yes I agree she faced mental n verbal harassment.this is also a part of DV...her panic attacks is proof..N vanraj is equally punishable.. Aur usko bhi saja milni chahiye.. Whitewash nhi...

The makers probably missed the chance for highlighting domestic abuse on an emotional front in case of V and Anu...but the fact that they have ensured they talk about it atleast through Mukku is really something i appreciate.

Across so many TV shows (Indian and International), we see how abuse is normalised, infact some even glorify it as machoism. So many shows show forced marriages where later on the FL gets used to (which these shows call love) the ML and eventually adapts to the toxic environment. Anupama show has taken a very important topic...instead of showing Mukku as a brat who will eventually be 'tamed' by her husband, they are showing the society a mirror...they are truly showing that even courageous business women like Mukku deal with unhealed trauma caused by educated men.

I hope the makers give this track adequate time and show healing in the right way and not a rushed 'one background song mein healing for Mukku'

Sometimes I feel more than women, men should be watching this show. They'll atleast be more aware of the impact/damage they cause on women.

The so called HERO of the show also did domestic violence.
