I still have one question though..why they needed Mukku to raise this issue.

I think she only blames him for Akshay which kind of ties up with the abusive marriage Anuj got her into...but Anuj blames himself for it all...his panic attack in the promo today shows how the thought of putting her through the abuse is breaking him everyday.

As far as I believe she blames him for Akshay but not for the married life. She was tormented and Anuj couldn’t help her much owing to the guilt he had. The wounds were so raw and new that things might have gone downhill rapidly. Anuj was also bound because it’s was his wrong decisions that caused all this though it isn’t really his fault.

May be coz marital rape will be out of V's. charac arc. I mean he was always a chauvinist but he was potrayed as a grey character na. This would criminalize him to an extent of no redemption plus it would be too much for Anu to bear. Ppl think girls like mukku, someone educated, social, rich, aware and modern woman will not go through such things. So keeping all this in mind, I think Mukku was the best candidate for this plot😞😞
