Aryan is such a sweetheart of a husband.

He's forever being kind and considerate to Imlie which she is not used to due to her past so she is consistently fighting it. I also get it from her perspective, she wants him to say what he wants directly, example: the point about having children.

Poor Imlie, as fortunate that she is that she has him... the bombs just keep on dropping LOL. Royalty, babies, Rajasthan... she has so much to process.

Their little squabbles and bickering is just hilarious. It is so real, but amongst all of that you can feel that they still care about what the other wishes.

Their conversation in the car... its natural for someone like Imlie to compare and even if you have genuinely moved on from something, similar situations can always bring back memories. Hopefully her future experiences will replace some of the negative ones.

'I will take you on a ride on top of a bus' - for some reason I just cannot see Aryan Singh Rathore all suited and booted sitting on top of a bus haha

'Not everything' - wondering what she hasn't shared with him yet. Maybe details about her feelings about love?

Fab update.The 1st marriage and the comparisons to the second one ,and she being HAPPY was poignant.Imlie's insecurities about any thing marriage related is understandable.Aryan being Aryan and the convo about babies was a beautiful one.When he says no/unsure ,she wants one ,doesnt she? .Lokking forward to see Rajastan and palace through your eyes and and writing .Read multiple times .Lovely and different update as usual.

Thank you for your comment about what stood out to you or spoke to you on the piece. Yes, I tried hard to show their emotional intimacy. They are more compatible with each other off the bat in the show and so I wanted to show that it has grown. Their comfort comes more from friendship than passionate love that Aditya expressed. But his love fizzles and reignites fast, that's the kind of temperamental thing that doesn't last for life.

Aryan on top of a bus might be fun, right?

By "not everything" Imlie wanted to say that he hid his royal status from her till the last minute. But he teases and says it's not so bad given the pampering they are getting from the uncle. She understands in his part that the reason he didn't give this detail so much thought is because of the friction within the family. Aryan thinks of himself as royal in name only, it's not his way of life. This whole trip is as new for him as her, but he's used to privilege as a wealthy person. For Imlie, it's a lot at once but the wealth doesn't really change her equation with him. She is in fact, even in the show, quite unbothered about his money. They are kindred spirits and they know that.
