Loll, everything was going great until Abhi pulled Akshu into the room. I understand that he wanted Akshu to say that she defended him because it was HIM, Abhi, but honestly Akshara would have defended anyone if they were in this situation. Whether it was a man or a woman, it doesn't matter. They were being taken advantage of and a gross injustice was about to occur. If it's within her power to save them, of course she would do that.
This would have actually been a beautiful way for them to restart on the basis of friendship. But nahi, Abhi just had to get his hopes dashed for the 192847593th time just so that he can 'move on'.

I don't think Abhimanyu loves Akshara. He loves the idea of her. Usse Akshara jaisi ek ladki chahiye jo din bhar issi ke baare mein soche aur iske aage peeche ghumti rahe. The fact that she can prioritize her family over him or that she can think of people other than him is in large parts indigestible for him.
I hope he mellows down and starts seeing Akshara for who she really is and not who he wants her to be.

I was legit thinking this just yesterday!
Abhimanyu has been drastically different ever since he returned from the trip. Which makes sense cuz he's in love but there are other core characteristics about him that have been greatly altered as well. The whole misunderstanding for one thing. Abhi would have never let something like this happen as he would have been meticulous about making every moment with Akshara perfect. He would have made it very clear to the family as to whom he loves and would have made sure nothing went wrong from the proposal to their actual marriage.
The fact that he bypassed the whole love confession and proposal is ridiculous. Even if he was confident in Akshara’s love for him, he would have still done something to create some private moments that would be memorable for just the two of them. But nahi, isne toh apne pyaar ka tamasha hi banake rakh diya hai.
Up until the phone conversation, everything was going great between them. That slow courtship where he flirted with her and made several attempts in getting to know her were on point and in line with his character. Uske baad toh mano jaise iska dimaag hil gaya.

I have thought of that before as well, he is in love with the idea of love and Akshara. He is making no efforts to know her, what she likes or dislikes? Who are the people important to her? He as a doctor has yet to address why she gets panic attacks.
He knows how important her family is for her yet he makes no efforts to make amends with them.
The only redeeming quality he has is that he puts Arohi in her place whenever she crosses a line with Akshu.
